Here's what was said about our supposed bid for Damiao in The Times:

Giovanni Luigi, the Internacional president, has said that only Tottenham have made a formal bid — of about £11 million — for Leandro Damião, the Brazil striker. He also defended the £25 million sale of Oscar to Chelsea before the Olympics.
“It was a very good price. The risk of the price sliding rather than rising was greater [after the tournament],” Luigi said.

Don't see why Sandro can't play. Isn't the football final on the 11th or something so assuming Brazil are there, Sandro still has a week before we play Newcastle. He'll be match fit of course, and probably more so than everyone else as opposed to being tired, and can be rested/rotated with Parker when he's fit again. We also have Livermore available too don't forget.
