I know alot of people are moaning about the amount of shots we've had in the last few games or so and haven't converted as many as we like, but look at this way, we lost Modric, VDV and had a change of manager, we had a slow start to the season but have now started to create the same amount of chances that we were making last season when we had Modric and VDV, losing 2 players of that quality and still creating those chances really is quite incredible to see. I think the squad, manager and backroom staff deserve a big pat on the back. COYS.

Good win.
With the amount of shots we had on goal you would of thought we won the game 5 or 6-1.
All thats missing in our team especially at home games is that killer instinct in front of goal and also someone in midfield that can unlock the defence.
Ps - really hope southampton do us a favour.

2-1 up and we start playing like the game is already won with 20 odd minutes to go.
I really don't know what happened to Walker this season. His indecision has and will continue to cost us both in defence and going forward. He needs some time on the bench. You can't continuously skin defenders, get into the box and then just wait to be tackled - get down the line and slam in a cross for god's sake.
There's one thing about it, my arse cheeks are getting a proper workout at the moment from the clenching anytime the ball falls into his area of the pitch. I've no doubt he'll come good, but Naughton is starting to look established now.
So pleased with the rest of the team though, movement could be better up front but we're winning.

Totally agree. I'd love us to be scoring more but the fact that we are so dominating games is impressive. Three games over Christmas our possession has been 60%, 55%, 68% and we have had 21, 17, and 34 goal attempts (72 in total) whilst only allowing 4, 8, and 7 against (19 in total). I'm chuffed with that, especially as two of those games were away.

The thing is Defoe must have hit 15 of them, and only about 2 were on target.
