We don't need him imo. He's similar to Livermore albeit more physically dominating.

We should be chasing Sahin to play alongside Sandro, not M'Vila.

Yeah that's right, we don't need a full French international who has caught the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the world because we have Jake Livermore.

I've watched him and he's a good player, but absolutely not what we need imo.

I mentioned Livermore because he plays a similar role in that he sits in midfield, hassles opponents and keeps the ball moving. Tidy, does his job but not agile, has little flair, does not turn sharply.

Sandro would work best alongside a deep-lying playmaker- a Sahin, a Banega etc

he will be our yaya toure. he is fucking good defensively, but still able to pick out good passes.

M'Vila can be a deep-lying playmaker if what people are saying about his passing is true. I think Sandro and him would be a dynamic partnership of two DM's that can do different things.

Parker cannot last more than another season or two, so if we can pick him up cheap, we should.

He's not much like Yaya at all
thats because yaya is given a much more attacking role. before that he was playing defensively too. i'm not saying currently he plays like yaya toure, i'm saying he has all the attributes to convert into the player yaya converted to by pep.

Disagree.

The midfield would be way too lightweight.

And how is M'Villa similar to Livermore???

He's a French international who plays regularly for his club and is capable of both defensive and offensive play.

Livermore didn't string a run of games together for us and is yet to 100% prove himself.

apparently m'vila has been forced to play a defensive role for both france & his club, but can perform just as well in a more attacking position. really doubt he'd be brought on to play the sandro/parker role.

Similar in style of play / role, not achievements. You clearly have not watched M'Vila for club or country if you think he's proven himself as an "offensive" force.

I'll happily be proved wrong if he signs for us.

Lets buy M'Vila and get a loan deal for Sahin when we sell them Modric (since they won't sell Sahin). Problem solved.

Only seen him in the euros and was impressed. A solid player that was almost always available for a pass and moved the ball along quick whilst also being able to do a few long range passes

I0m for a full French international at age of 22 is a Levy deal if ever there was one

Maybe we could loan them Livermore as a sweetener towards getting M'Villa? :)

We'd also be allowing an English player to gain some valuable experience abroad, too many of them young chaps stay in England and really need to get out there and see the world.

Maybe we could throw in Jenas as a freebie too.

Oh yeah.

Vieria and Petite style?

Mmmmmmmm yeah...

Are you serious? Did Levy ever give a freebie?
