Lots of speculation regarding the possible transfer of the erratic Welshman but would you lot want him in a Spurs shirt and and why/why not?

  • Personally I would say yes. Okay he is 30 but still has pace to burn and is a real threat to defenders. He is versetile and we do lack another pacy option he would in essence replace Robbie Keane, and if Redknapp can control Bellamy which I believe he most certaintly can I think he could really do a job for us. I don't think he is quite good enough to be first choice especially as he is getting on a bit now and he is by no means a world-beater but he has fight desire,as I said before pace in abundance and would provide a good different option.
Strikers next season:
Dzeko + Defoe(1st choice) Crouch+Bellamy(2nd choice) thats the dream anyway.

No if we keep Gudjohnsen and buy Dzeko, however if we sell Keane, Pav and don't retain Gudjohnsen then he'd be a different option to Defoe with pace to burn and can be used on the wings if needed.

Yes he has a bit of pace when his knees work and yes he gives 100% when he wants to but its a no from me.

Trouble follows him around he has left under a cloud at almost every club he's been to. Its only a matter of time before he causes fights with Hary or another player and unsettles the dressing room. He has only been at City 1 season now and caused at least 2 fights to my knowlege. He's a liability that doesn't add anything we don't already have or can't get elsewhere.

Yes, because he talent on the pitch far out weighs the fact he is a **** off it

Tricky one. We really could do with a striker who could play the lone forward role and Bellamy isn't it. This means if we signed Bellamy, we'd could do with another striker too but where does that leave our current four (and Eidur)?

I expect Keane and Pavlyuchenko to leave and then either 2 or 1 and Gudjohnsen to come in. I'd be happy if one of them was Bellamy. He is a good player and has the kind of desire we need.

No because if we are going to buy another striker, and we only need one more, let's make it a really high quality one and not someone on the same level that we already have.

I want a "Yes AND No" option!

Yes - for all of the reasons everyone elsse has given.

No - for THE one reason everyone else has given - he really is a prize CARLTON who has disrupted the dressing room in just about every club he has been in.

Yes. An upgrade to keane. To me a very good player is a very good player. His pace and finishing will help sustain our challenge on all front.

Yes.........only if Harry can stop him being a complete ****before and after the 90mins. He's a fiesty bastard, and with the amount of games we will have next season, having someone like that may be a big positive.

I think he's a great player and has been in the form of his life at City, but he's been playing left side and is not an upgrade on anything we have in that position, so it's a no for me.

I think he's a very good player but I think he would also create a bit of disruption in the team.

He has been relatively quiet at Man City despite his fallouts with the management, but I attribute that to the extortionate salary he is collected, one which spurs wouldnt match.

I also think at his age he isnt going to get any faster or better. There are better options elsewhere

No, because:

- He's injury prone.
- He won't be happy being backup, he will cause problems.
- He's a ****.
- He's overated. Massively.

Yes (but only if Keano and Pav are out)

We have enough short arse strikers, but we need more needle/bastards.

Yes. Last season he really showed what a class player he is and what a genuine threat he his. Bags of premier league experience. If the price is right then I say we should get him. Can operate wide left, wide right and I would assume wide right. Very versatile player who has also played in the champions league
