This was the most incompetent tactical mess I have seen since AVB took over. Even worse than Milan. Why did we need Dempsey Defoe Dempsey and Ade at the same time ?? Why was Bale playing RM ?? Wtf was our best midfielder taken off ?? The formation in the first half was a joke and the second nobody knew where they were supposed to be playing

So, that´s the end of our CL-ambitions. We´ll lose bale, won´t get a new striker, CM og winger, and will fall back to mid table mediocrity. Fuck this shit...

Oh well, are we doing it again? Are we really gonna bottle it once a"fucking"gain!

Honestly, sometimes I wonder why I care so much, I know the end of the story! Once again we knew in the transfer window we needed a striker and once again did nothing about it! I wonder if we will ever learn from our mistakes???

Toothless, insipid, uninspired, turgid performance.
Waited until the 89th minute for a glimmer of excitement and hope - but even then Defoe just shoots goal bound - the boy has no finesse.
At the beginning of the season I suggested we should give AVB time, a couple of years to mould his team. He's done remarkably well - but now we can see the players who simply aren't good enough for his vision - we're getting there - but we're still a long way off and I don't think AVB's starting team had a clue what they were doing.
Still, we're in the mix for a Clge place and of course as Spurs die-hards we live in the land of hope.
But that performance....was truly fucking awful.

Above all, Dempsey was shocking even by his standards. Don't care if he's been out with injury. He had a worse shoot on sight policy than Defoe.

All over. Even if Fulham didn't deserve to win, we certainly deserved to lose this one. Awful performance.

Excuses about being tired after Thursday don't cut it. There was a time when we played and won with a very full schedule and no subs. These guys are fitter and train better - supposedly. They shouldn't be knackered and giving such a poor performance.

im sure a lot has to do with fatigue. We outplayed liverpool and lost to 2 stupid individual errors. Inter was a war which we had no right to walk through just cos we were 3-0 up (if we can do it why cant inter?). Today was clearly tired legs. The movement was poor and the determination was poor.

Naughton, BAE, Dempsey, Sigg and adebayor might as well not of showed up. Carroll was the only positive today.

This hurts a lot.

17th of March. The day Tottenham gave away Champions league football (for good?)

Seriously that is pathetic

We are devoid or creativity, devoid of penetration and unless Bale wins us a game we simple cannot

How are we supposed to break down Stoke or Wigan? Beat Chelsea or Man City?(probably more chance of raising our game for those)

But after beating Arsenal and creating a gap we have since pissed away 6 points and they will (as they always do) go on to over take us I am sure

I think we'd be smart to make the Europa our priority right now because looking at that I think both Cheslea and Arsenal will beat us to the CL places and at least in cup format with a favourable draw we have a half decent chance of some glory in Europe

As long as we don't pay top 4 striker wages, we won't get top 4 strikers. I'm not saying we should, i'm just stating a fact.
We could have got a striker that would vastly improve us £80k is def realistic Poss more Levy wouldn't pay the fees that's the issue

We should have played like Fulham against Milan, wouldn't of been as knackered and would of had a better mentality going into this game..

baffles me too, either hes doing what he wants or AVB is clueless.

To be fair, Bale was clearly injured.

I can only think that he stayed as he was still more of a threat than the 3 blind mice (Ade, Defoe & Dempsey) with 1 leg.
