The deal seems to be getting closer, trying so hard not to get my hopes though as could easily go tits up.

This is key, if we pull off the right transfers this summer we could end up with 8-9 players as good as any team in the league, with 2-3 'soldiers' who are solid in their position & can easily do their job.
That's why talk of challenging at the top end of the table isn't fanciful. We're not far away.

A world class striker and a wide man magician are the only glaring remaining components - trouble is, the talent pool is narrowed considerably and we are talking serious bucks for these two positions.

Do we go all Brazilian and go with Leandro and Bernard? I could definitely live with that.

How I see it is Sandro is more than adept enough to cover Dembele and Paulinho whilst they drive forward... Maybe Dembele being a little more conservative and Paulinho being the most advanced. Imagine the sheer pace and power we can have rampaging through teams with the likes of Dembele, Paulinho and Bale.

From what I've seen I'm not quite sure that he possesses either the skill or the technique of Dembele.

From what I've seen, he's called 'something "inho".... Now stop killing the vibe & join the kneejerk party

That's a poorly worded Tweet. It appears he's trying to state that Scolari has confirmed Paulinho (who THFC is very close to signing) will not play, etc.

I am not thinking, I am just sitting here being all cool and relaxed.

This is a dream, this is not real, someone has slipped drugs in to my local environment...

I was thinking how left field this was... It's literally come out of nowhere and escalated so fast. I think this is a sign of things to come, hopefully the LD links are just paper talk from Inter's rhetoric.

It feels a bit like that great night so long ago when Luka joined late Friday. I think that's what started fun-time friday and finally it seems to have returned. Hottie must be the happiest person on the planet

Good thing is he's spent a couple of years in Europe before as a young player, so at least he's not entirely green regarding leaving Brazil.

His wiki has some choice quotes actually:

He is well known for his extreme levels of mental toughness and also his aerial prowess
Paulinho is a box-to-box midfielder who "is a strong and powerful runner, pushing his side forward from midfield to supplement his fine defensive work. Paulinho also offers a useful presence in set piece situations at both ends of the pitch
