Know it doesn't mean much but odds are shortening at bookies and they're not even offering a price on Liverpool- Chelsea are 2nd favourites at 8/1

More variables = we didn't meet their demands but presented some add ons etc. not optimistic about this one

I am actually fairly optimistic. Valencia need to sell, and they probably know that no team will activate the buy-out clause because of the extra taxes if they do so. I'd say €26 million plus addons is a damn good offer for a 28 year old player.

Seems as though they rejected our first offer, but our expecting to discuss an improved offer tomorrow with the board of directors at Valencia. It also states that we have agreed terms with Soldado.

Thanks. I can't handle all this stress. He is the player I have wanted us to sign most for the last three years. Never been so excited about a signing. A striker with movement - heaven forbid!

I'm not in love with the price tag for the age. And in all honesty I would prefer a target man type.

HOWEVER

I am more excited than I remember being ever during the summer transfer window. I'm turning into a teenage girl almost..

Putting my Spurs fan of 20 odds yrs hat on though, I expect to see that Liverpool have offered £800m and £5m pw wages for him when I wake up tomorrow morning.

I think we are close.

At the end of the day if we have offered £26million straight up and then the rest in installments no way will valenica reject that offer.

Maybe tomorrow at 12:00 they will be finalizing the paper work!!!

I fucking hope so :)
