There are way too many former Liverpool players earning an excellent living as pundits, and they range in insight from ho hum to banal (Owen).
Souness is the best ex-Liverpool pundit, but only because there's a constant edge of wondering whether he's going to pick a scrap with a fellow pundit whose opinion he doesn't respect.
As for Mourinho's original comments, this was pure Magic Trick designed to distract attention away from the fact that two of his players should have been sent off - Eto'o and Oscar - and Suarez had a blatant penalty turned down.
Mourinho has always spoken with forked tongue, but it's pure parody now.
The Special One seems very relaxed telling fib after fib after fib. Imagine if Drogba was still his centre forward, diving around & feigning injury as if he'd been shot several times a game..
I'm sure he said that to divert attention, but then Hazard should have had a penalty and Lucas could easily have been sent off for his reaction to Oscar. So it's hardly the 'Liverpool were robbed' that Rodgers is making it out to be.
