I don't agree I think N'Jie has shown nothing other than speed. His distribution is very poor and he just runs up dead ends and if you think he is going to give us something extra on the run in then you arte going to be dissapointed.
He's got very good technique and is skilful. He just needs to get going.

Hope our fans can create a similar atmosphere on sat, you can see what a difference it makes.

Payet is some player, one of the best in the league IMO. Wish we had someone with that level of creativity.

Agree with what you said regarding we played too much in our own half but Id have thought anyone who's watched West Ham play at all this season would have known this was gonna be a scrappy physical game.
Not suited for Lamela at all and he was poor imo.
Not the game to be missing Alli and Dembele really. Sucks.
Next.
I thought first half Lamela was up for it more than anyone else & anything good we done went through him first half. Dembele & Alli was a big miss & without them Bentaleb should of started imo.. as you say Next & on to the next one

I didn't see the game. Were we better in the 2nd half? Because by all accounts Billic did a tactical number on us in the first half and I'm a bit dissapointed we didn't have an answer such as changing our own system to counter it.

Mental edge. Can't wait for clint to come back though, been itching to have him play point and give 'arry a breather.

Think he'll be great there now. Got high hopes for him.
We obviously have not been watching the same player!!!

How do you know we didn't? I never saw the game either so we might not have done, but I suppose what i'm saying is we might have tried something to counter it and it simply didn't work.

I don't, that's why I'm asking, but I know we didn't make a change at half time and from the limited MOTD analysis ( and everything else I've read ) it seems that not a great deal changed in the 2nd half.

Bilic got his tactics spot on tonight as he has a few times this season against the "Top Teams" He's a very good manager and if Poch does go in the summer to Real or Barca......and the rumours seem to be getting stronger I would think he could be good for us.
The hard training sessions that are needed for our pressing game that has been so good this season could start to take a toll in these last few weeks. I thought some of the players looked jaded tonight and there are still a lot of games till' the end of the season with Europe aswell.

His set pieces were outstanding. What a delivery he has.

Can't stop thinking about that Kane miss. It was so poor and really highlighted how bang out of form he is.

You cant help but think that had he scored it, we'd have gone on to win that.

Last night there were posters that suggested we should settle for nothing less than a win......REALLY ?? Tonight's game is what real competition is about and not some computer generated random game. A draw tonight would have been a great result and I am sure Poch realised that. Personally I think our hardest game of the run in has passed.

We do have a few players who worry me....Davies being one...he looked like a rabbit in the headlights tonight.

I should have picked up the Spursy vibe when my boss who's a fellow Yid, invited me round to watch the game and his girlfriend sent him a text telling him with no irony whatsoever, that she had taken some lasagne out of the freezer for the both of us! Look, we were bloody awful, from Davies to Dier to Kane to Poch - everyman Jack played a shocker, and the Spammers beat us at our own game. However it is the first time in absolute ages we were outplayed and out thought and actually deserved to lose. Thankfully our rivals showed their inconsistency again too - though it is a missed opportunity - lets strengthen our resolve, regain focus, and bounce back as we have done all season when we have suffered a defeat.

It makes Saturday's game one of the most important in Spurs history. No pressure lads, no pressure!!! My one concern is Kane - he's not been at the races for a good few games, and tonight he looked as wobbly as if he'd spent all afternoon sniffing creosote!
