You are putting words which I never said, into my mouth.
When I say 'MoPo is panicking', it is my take of expressing his demeanour, his words show that he is uncomfortable with our performances. His oral and body language can be appropriately described as worry and 'PANIC'.
Actually, I didn't say that you said he was panicking.

I give up. Spurs are [insert insult here]. Goodnight folks.

We didn't play good football at all. We had a handful of excellent performances (Arsenal, Chelsea) and whole lot of rubbish where we were rescued by late individual goals after desperate performances (Hull, Villa, Swansea, Sheffield United, etc) that put us in a position that we didn't deserve to be in. If you want to re-write history be my guess.
I don't know what sport some of you lot watch, but in football you don't get extra points for style or expression.

More quotes from MoPo :

Pochettino said: “We can make a lot of excuses. Psychological block? Maybe I can say yes, but it’s not true.

“In football, you need to feel freedom to play. Tell me one place better to play football than here, with its history. This is where football was born and it was in front of 85,000 people. I’m a little bit ashamed, it’s embarrassing for me.

“We cannot blame Wembley. Wembley was fantastic for me, I enjoy coming here a lot. We need to show more, we were poor again.

“We need to find answers. It’s not because we are playing in a bigger stadium with 85,000 fans, we need to be critical of our performance. We were the problem, not Wembley. Please stop trying to blame Wembley.”

Quotes from Lloris :

And Llloris was left extremely frustrated by his team’s performance which sees Spurs drop to third place in Group E.

“Yeah, very disappointed, very frustrated – maybe a bit upset too – because it is difficult to accept that kind of performance from us,” Lloris told talkSPORT.

“It was difficult to recognise our team. We are used to being very aggressive and very calm under pressure, but today it was the complete opposite.”

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have picked up a single victory in their last seven games and have suffered with injuries to key players such as Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld.

Lloris dismissed Spurs’ problems were solely down to the absence of the duo, but rather down to a lack of awareness in a crucial encounter for the north London side’s chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

“We cannot only depend on one or two players that we are missing at the moment. But we need to think as a team, we need to be united and in football there are ups and downs.

“But it is difficult because this game was very important and I didn’t feel that we were really aware about that. Because Leverkusen didn’t play a great game, they were just well organised and they had a few chances because of us, because we made too many mistakes.

“We failed, and it was difficult to keep a balance on the pitch. But we win together and we lose together and we need to learn quickly because there is a big, big game on Sunday.

All week I was looking forward to going to the game. after a minute or two when lloris, our captain, misplaced a couple of passes, I knew this was going to be a terrible night. It just set the tone for the rest of the game.

Really poor performance. What has happened since the city game, I really thought we would kick on after that.

Leaving rose out was a massive mistake as he is good going forward and this was a must win game. Lets pray kane is back on sunday,

Lot of people don't seem to know the difference between a bad performance and a bad result.

Tonight was both.

Transitional.

The word you're looking for is transitional.

We are in Purgatory.

Our children may know what we had. But we won't.

agree with Poch and Hugo that it was poor. That being said I am 100% behind this team, manager and group. This performance was totally different to the Leicester one - no comparison. Tough game Sunday - wish this was the home fixture but such is life. In some respects the international window is arriving at a good time (just as the last arrived at a bad moment).
