I dunno. We has Isco last time, and Mario Gotze. We even had Kaka at one point..
Yes but not all at the same time though (i know isco and gotze were but gotze was never happening). These aren't players fishing for new contracts either

Would love this player based on the little I've seen.
Yes but other teams can give him 40 times his current wage

I kind of get why other clubs fans resent us having this lovely team and wonderful players while spending half of what they do on wages, but it's confusing when one of our own fans resents it.

Because I can see what's going to happen because of it

For this to be remotely realistic, it would have to happen rather quickly. As soon as the likes of Mendy, Sidibe, Fabinho, Bakayoko, and Mbappe start getting sold, his price will only keep going up. Similar to Schneiderlin During Poch's first summer.

Although I think this would be a dream signing, I will not let myself get sucked in. I can't do it to myself.

Quite rightly Mbappe's going to stay another year I think. He's smart enough to give himself at least a full season of football before moving to the likes of Real, with at that comes with it. And why sell him now, when another season will only see his price go up.

Because he may not be shot hot next season, esp if Monaco sell all the stars around him. Just sell Mbappe and take the 100 plus million. They seem to be selling the rest for decent amounts

Haha. This kid is only getting started. He hasn't even realised a fraction of his potential. Wouldn't surprise me if the offers get to 150m next summer.

That seems an insane price in this summer's market. There'd be a stampede.
I agree. But maybe just maybe everyone is distracted with their other talents and there is only a small handful of clubs really pushing this.

As an aside, what I really like about Lemar is that there is much more to his game than simply beating men, hitting crosses and scoring screamers. He is really composed with his passing and executes weighted passes well enough. He's also just as comfortable cutting inside as he is going outside and with him being able to operate on the right too that means we don't need to alternate between him and Sonny. We could play a mixture of all our AMs and be very well set-up.

Kane and Rose would really appreciate playing alongside him.

Anyway, it's pie in the sky at the moment.
