Not sure I agree. As talented as he is, I would question blocking the path of a more long term prospect from within the club. This is not an Edgar Davids or a Klinsmann type affair where you get someone expereinced in for a year to do a a job and create some buzz.
No, join us and be part fo the Poch family or move on entirely.

True. Their journos are on MBs trawling for stories. A few years back someone posted a fake story about us buying two Dutch players, complete with a link that didn't work. The Metro ran the story the next day.
I think he's covered by remarks containing 'prodigy', so look out for Keith Flint/firestarter cryptics.

I'd say it's almost certainly an overseas team, but it might not be a team choosing not to sell to someone in their own league. If you take PSG as an example they are trying to crack the champions league and wouldn't want to sell to Barcelona or Real Madrid at the moment. They might see us as a safer option. We also have the news that Levy is in France at the moment....

Isco? Come on man... We have had ZERO ITK on him so the likelihood of him suddenly being the one Hercules has alluded to is equally zilch. It's the kinda thing that gets A&C hard, like ban stick hard, so let's not bring up all this trash.
I am sure we will be politely asked to take the Balde stuff to the player thread at some point as well.
It's great to be optimistic about the Hercules ITK, but let's not ruin it eh!

The more positive the itk the more nervous the typical spurs fan in me gets that it'll all fall short.
Have found it very interesting this window though the difference in the information. In the past we've seen lots and lots of conflicting itk, undoubtedly driven by different sources obviously but probably indicative of our historical scatter gun approach where we've rapidly bounced between targets.
Whilst we've had weeks of no news the itk when it has come has been consistent and no matter the source pretty comparative between the guys. Indicates fewer (and better) sources maybe but also that we've had a single approach which we've stayed loyal to and perhaps we're about to reap the rewards as such.
The last few days have been awesome and regardless of what happens from here on in just cements this place as the best site on the internet. Thanks JJ/Gards/Trix/Hercules/AliZ/Dov/THFCSpurs19 but also a&c, rob and the guys. Just love it here

Not sure why people are so excited about "prodigies" I think we need a bit more proven experience. We have some great Prodigies in our youth set up don't we, what does it say to them?
These young lads, especially when coming in with no premiership experience are always a big gamble, especially at the money we are shelling out.
