no. they just have to help the team work and flow as a unit. this involves more than just having a good engine. jj's sense of positioning is crap. he only ever makes himself available to receive the simplest passes, and nine times out of ten, plays a simple one himself.
the argument that you can't appreciate his game on the tv (because he does all of his work off-screen) is as lame as jenas's strength on the ball. i was at the torino game and he gave a carbon-copy of his sunderland performance. lots of running, complimented by a pass the buck attitude when on the ball. for me, jenas as a player is summed up perfectly by the arsenal 2-2 draw. useless all match, popping up with a sweet goal to appease everyone, then carrying his crap performance into the next game. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
