It doesn't matter. There is nothing through the middle. They have not been under enough proper duress/pressure and the only way for us to manufacture that is by turning their heads with balls in/across the danger area and making the game as uncomfortable as possible for them.
Son has done a sterling job of trying to penetrate from the other side and that is where all our genuine threat has come from.
If we're not playing accurately in between them with cunning runs off the ball and we're not going to get in behind them, there is no point coming out for the second half.
I don’t disagree with some of that. But Aurier isn’t a solution. We need to press them viciously - say this every time we play bus parkers - high up, win the ball higher before they get set. Then a player like Trippier with better delivery can be more useful.
