i actually think in the right team he is decent, but he scores most of his goals from crosses and our two full backs Rose and Walker who gave us width and regularly got forward and crossed from the byline are either gone or injured, he has shown nothing really to show him and kane would work well, it seems an utterly pointless and ill thought out signingI've had enough of these cheap purchases. If Llorente was any good he wouldn't have been at Swansea. In fact, watching his highlights reel from last season (15 goals), they're mainly headers. Some of them not very convincing headers. There's nothing in the vids to suggest his all round game was right for us. I think it was another terrible mistake to buy the guy. Our transfer committee have a lot to answer for. We went from flirting with Keita Balde and Martial, to Llorente. WHAT?? What exactly was the strategy here?
Because he was the best of what we could find in the last minute bargain basement bin.If he's a 32 year old without a pre-season and a reasonable amount of time on the sidelines this summer, then why the fuck did we sign him? Surely you're signing a 32 year old to make an impact immediately. It seems to have affected him massively for us and now he's lost all confidence.
