I personally think we should send 2 players to QPR, steve plays a good style of football and is good at developing/coaching players

Bit worrying losing Brown to Huddersfield?

Supposed to be a talented left back, a position where we have been struggling in this season when Rose has been unavailable (and earlier in season not fully fit).

What does Brown see in Huddersfield that he doesn’t see here?

Game time obviously? He’s probably looking at KWP and thinking if he can’t do it I’ve got no chance.

He has zero chance of having a professional football career at Tottenham. He has a better chance at Huddersfield. It really is as simple as that. This is not a losing a young talent story.

I don’t think he left off his own back , I read that he was told he was being released . So basically we agreed to let him go early, saves us paying him another 6 months money .

In 2 years of visiting this thread I’ve never heard Brown spoken about once in regard to breaking into senior squad. That probably tells you everything.

Just looked on the website to read a bit more about Jaden Browns bio , but he’s been taken off pretty sharply

, Italics =

These are all the players I'd expect to be here, whether it be due to talent or necessity.
Bold = Been offered or signed scholars from what I've heard, Italics = players I'd expect to be released

Isak Middtun Solberg (GK)
Timothee Lo'Totula (GK)
Tobi Oluwayemi* (GK)
Kallum Cesay (RB/CB)
Dermi Lusala (RB/CB/DM)
Jeremy Kyezu (LB)
Michael Craig (CB/DM)
Matthew Craig (CM/AM)
Albert Rachi (CM)
Nile John (W/AM)
Eddie Carrington-Alberdi(FW)
Max Robson(AM)
Kymani Thomas** (FW)
Tarrell Whittaker (S)

That's 14. I can't imagine us having that big an age group. Plus there's players like Mundle who have been around for ages and I imagine are liked so wouldn't be surprised to see him stay. Muir is a big surprise for me imo as I still think he looks solid.

*Confusing one. I've been told Lo'Totula has signed up, we have apparently signed a Norwegian keeper, yet Oluwayemi has been called up to England in the past and also recently. Heard he had regressed a bit but the recent call-up suggests he might still be rated. But can't imagine we'd have 3 keepers so who knows.

**Think this is a kid we've signed, who looks a good forward. Can't find much about him at the moment in terms of style of player or where he came from.

With Pedder, still needing games next year I and with what we have the year below, I'd be surprised if we signed up Eddie, who like Aird-Munn looks handy but I've never been blown away by compared to other youngsters I've seen.

John is a winger, very silky feet and dribbler, and a good finisher. I don't think he is rapid or anything, not a typical winger in that since, but he can really glide through players. The only regular we have for that England 03 age group. Lusala, Watt and Oluwayemi are others who have played for England the Craigs have trialled.

Michael Craig is probably the next best player. There's a lot to like about him and his brother is also good. They're both excellent and taking the ball under pressure and moving it around. I think Michael is the one who is more 2 footed, and Matthew the more creative.
Lusala is very versatile and good on the ball but I think is one that gets moved around quite a bit. Robson is a technical AM,but I haven't seen as much of him as the others. Then I have heard Thomas is really good. I haven't seen loads of this age group strangely compared to others which is why my info is light. I think it's a case of they haven't had many streamed tournaments. But I have seen John, Craigs and Lusala quite a bit

Looks like Alex Monroe has gone to Forest

Interesting thought, what will be going through Hudson-Odoi's mind right now? CFC reject a 20m offer from Munich, only to then sign Pulisic. Everything wrong with the English game's approach to youth development right now?

Chelsea have embodied everything wrong with talent development for years. Suck in every big talent they can find, win a fuckton of FA Youth Cups, then ignore them completely and farm them out with no career trajectory once they hit 19.

Even from business model perspective it's a poor approach. They are not even selling those prospects for profit. It's plan and simple hoarding of talent.
But that will be put to an end with the changes to the loan system

interesting, then again i'm sure the club says the same thing to most players.

maghoma has improved a lot this season, is far more productive and doesn't fritter the ball away quite so much(though it's still an area he needs to improve on). my worry for him though is that he's the "mercurial" type player that we've yet to see come through under poch, he might like them once a lot of their flaws have been ironed out but whether he's willing to go through the growing pains to get there i don't know. he also has that onomah/tob languid style working against him.
