Hi all,
As we are hopefully moving in the right direction to get our normal lives back including match days I thought it would be interesting to hear your best memories in a stadium when Spurs were playing.
It could be anything really; a funny one, just plain weird, a really good win, great atmosphere, you name it! Just look down your memory lane and I’m sure you will find something.
I’ll start: I live and grew up abroad so when going to games I guess I have a tourist aura over me and obviously I also have an accent which is not really Brittish. Anyway I was going to the Spurs - Bayer Leverkusen game at Wembley 2017 and for some reason plenty of people asked me where I bought the match day programme and every time I opened my mouth everyone looked at me and thought I was some German infiltrator or something. I even had to show my passport to some bloke lol. It was all fun and banter in the end but I realized that away supporters in the home ends are not appreciated, even in the Club Wembley section.
Other than that I guess my best memory is my first game at WHL which was the 5-0 win against Newcastle in 2012 when Adebayor turned in to prime Messi.
