I’m in shock honestly, cannot believe they pulled this off
Said this earlier like when we beat Liverpool 4-1 then they addressed their issuesIn a couple of years we might look back at the 3-0 against United as an incredible result. As may Man United fans.
I think people forget that most managerial appointments end in tears.I still think it will end in tears, but I’m all aboard the Conte hype train nonetheless!
Could be our bin dipper momentIn a couple of years we might look back at the 3-0 against United as an incredible result. As may Man United fans.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad if we appoint Conte, but the stupidity of all the wasted time when we (clearly) could have had him in summer with a full pre-season to work with the team is just incredibly frustrating. We all knew back then he was the man for the job.
That’s Levy logic for you. Our just plain old incompetence, in which the bald bollocks is a specialist.
Kane transfer still on the cards then? Lmao
A bit unfair i think on Spurs if we take Levy at his word wrt the stadium. Will we spend 300m in 2 windows? No likely not. But with the new stadium being full every week, the ancilliary events, & the fact that we have 30 years to pay back the loans, it presents a lot of wiggle room to provide for the club on the pitch & with the hundreds of billions Newcastle is now flush with to improve their dilapidated infrastructure & squad, this is our last & best chance to finally figure this mess out again, get a trophy & get something going to build upon. Conte is here for the now. But depending on how things go, Paratici could be here for longer than the initial 3 years he got.BBC article just come out:
Why would Conte join Spurs now?
It is easy to understand what attracted Tottenham Hotspur to Antonio Conte, but why has the Italian manager decided to join the north London club now?www.bbc.co.uk
Agreed. I need to change my avatar urgently! Bye bye to thisI’m in shock honestly, cannot believe they pulled this off
Annoying that it's Vitesse then Everton then international break. How much of the squad isn't going anywhere and can work with Conte?
cheers- amendments like an extra 0 on his warchestWas done verbally hours ago. Contract was still to sign(at that point) as it needed amendments, which is not unusual.

Nowhere in that article do they mention fab, people seem to be forgetting thisBBC article just come out:

I think signing romero, gollini, Gil and royal would have would have played a partIf that was the case, he would not have come. Fabio has likely been told the budget he’ll have at his disposal for January & that has probably been relayed to Conte. We’ll see what happens. I really would love a good long form behind the scenes article on how Paratici pulled this off after the disastrous summer debacle.
