I came down from college in Sheffield. I got there about 4:00 and the line for the Park Lane Terraces was round to the Main gates on the High Road. They opened the gates at 6:00 I think and the line was moving smoothly until I was about half way down Park Lane from the terrace turnstiles . Then everyone behind panicked they wouldn’t get in and surged forward. Park Lane road was a sea of people. I got swept past the terrace turnstiles and was in the middle of the road opposite the turnstiles for the upper Stand. I forced my way to them and went into through the Stand turnstile. I went down to the terraces and asked the guy to let me in there. He thought I was mad but I told him there was no way I was going to be able to sit for this game.
I was right behind the goal and if there had been no net the winning goal would have hit me in the face. As it was it was like a slap in the face. Bad journey back to Sheffield. My room mate was a Leeds fan so he was not happy as a draw would have seen Leeds Champions.

Always laugh listening to the mugs -

We’ve managed to clock up 17x 1st class trophies in our history. Man City have got 22 in total (I think)

14 of their trophies were won after they were oil-washed in 2008 so they can stfu and get in the sea. Store bought fuckers.

CSKA Moscow, Shakhtar Donetsk, Marseille, Malaga, Galatasaray, Wolfsburg, Leicester City and APOEL, yes fucking APOEL, have all won a Champions League knock-out tie more recently than Arsenal. In total, 34 teams have made it into the quarter finals since Arsenal last won the right to have their arses handed to them by Lionel Messi in April 2010.

I mean, RB Leipzig were formed in the fifth tier of the German league in the same season as Arsenal last made the quarters and they still have a better fucking record in the Champions League than Arsenal in the past twelve years.

So, when it comes to 'so-called' CL teams, then there's really only one candidate in North London and it's not in N17.

It’s funny I actually thought Robbie was quite sensible and level headed. But I’ve been watching the 5pm show as it’s just unbelievably amusing and he’s actually the most deluded of all of them. The way he talks like Raphina and Martinez are already their players and seriously I mean seriously talking about winning the league. Comparing this window to when Liverpool signed Alisson and Fabinho it’s just pure gold banter ?

I think the majority of opposition fans and pundits are missing (or overlooking) one key point about this Conte Spurs side. The shift in mentality.
Most of this side, while talented, have undoubtedly been performing well below what they are capable of for the last few seasons (bar the last 5/6 months or so).
But now, with Conte, everyone has got that big player/club mentality, from the players, game performances, to recruitment, right up to Levy himself. That is the biggest difference, so the old adage 'its just Spurs' doesn't really wash this time.

Evertons forum on Richarlison makes for nice reading. They think he's an 80m player and are absolutely gutted to lose him.

Arsenal are shtiting themselves now, they re gutted them missed out on raphinha and are slagging off Edu. They are very worried they will miss out on Martinez and also hilariously think they have a shot of signing Bellingham..... wow.
