Last night Robbie was insistent that Gabriel was better than Romero and Dias?And when Ben Davies was mentioned he burst out laughing. I’m not being funny but I really don’t think I’d swap Davies for Gabriel if offered next season. Maybe I’m bias I don’t know.

Davies may not be technically the greatest, but he makes up for that with 100% commitment, dedication to be a team player, and heart.

You get the sense with a lot of arsenal players, that if it can't be done with style or panache (in theirs eyes at least), then there's nothing in it for them and not worth bothering with. It's where their teams flakiness comes from, in my opinion.

Gabriel is a good player and would be miles better than Davies as a CB in a back 4.

Davies is really solid in this specific LCB role, though. Think his years of playing as a full-back really adds a lot to his game in that position.
