Look how far off Dier was on that last challenge with Nunez. He’s making Royal come round on the cover because he doesn’t know when too get tight and challenge, it’s completely messing up our shape on that side in particular.

They‘ve had much better chances than us. Our only chance of note was a cross from Kane that Perisic may or may not have got a slight glance on, only for the ball to ‘hit’ the keeper before hitting the post.

It doesn’t matter if Liverpool haven’t created their usual zillion chances, they’re cruising this game.

When you have 35% possession against gegenpress team, your defenders will make mistakes. Not that horrible of a mistake though. Think we got found out by Brighton last year, plus Tuchel loved back 3 formation so teams know how to play against it. Doesn't really matter with injuries we have, we are not winning this without in-form Son/Richarlison and Deki.
