Lucas should make more of it. If he does it's probably a penalty. The VAR looked at it apparently.

It's a foul anywhere else on the pitch
First time that I’ve seen that, unfortunately it just reaffirms my belief that Lucas just doesn’t have any footballing brains. Any other player makes sure he gets caught there or at least feigns it. If he does then there can be no other decision but a penalty. Sheer stupidity.

Harry having a go at the fans in the stadium. Finally. Socially inept clowns that don't even recognise the negative influence they have.

Nobody fucking cares that you paid some money to be there. We all pay money to do everything, grow up.
What did he say mate?

to be fair when you’re spending hours of your time and £100+ day out of hard earnt money to watch the opposition pass the ball around for the majority of the game and when we do get it Dier has a brain fart or Emerson crosses it off the pitch it isn’t exactly value for money is it ?

Probably but after 3 years of anti possession football and the same players letting us down it’s tiring for the fans.

Im not blaming conte but when you go and watch a first half where you’re 2-0 down at half time have had just 2 shots and 35% possession against a team bang out of form it’s no wonder the fans are frustrated as it’s boring and a waste of their time, it works both ways they need something to cheer and get behind also.
I understand the arguments but It just seems wrong

Was this a flashpoint or is this poster making a meal of it?

I missed the match btw

When we have had such replays, the only thing needed answering is VAR. We can call it inconsistent. But why would anyone deny the biasness? Really? A VAR that is AI-trained and machine-learned will pick up these fouls 100 times out of 100. Those pricks sitting inside the control room have their own will and leisure, with no one to answer to, on checking some incidents a whole 4 minutes while others a mere 4 seconds. Total bullshit.

This place is wild. One day it’s doom and gloom after the first five minutes of any game no matter what’s happening. Now it’s absolutely fine to suffer a second successive home defeat against a team who haven’t won away all season and effectively played with one forward player because we weren’t as gut-wrenchingly awful as we’ve been for most of the rest of the season.

It’s like an entirely bi-polar forum.

We weren't. We gave them a 2 goal head start and then decided to play football. Worked against Bournemouth but harder against Liverpool.
We could have had 2 penalties tonight. We had a ton of fouls not given our way and a ton exactly the same given the other way.

We need to make the stadium uncomfortable for referees from now on

Conte might need multiple windows to create a title winning team, but this squad shouldn’t be this easy to play against.
Absolutely this. There is no reason for us to be sooo pathetic for 45mins. Coming out fighting in the 2nd half only makes more of a mockery of the first 45.

These mistakes come also by the mentality and confidence coached into them...
These mistakes have been happening under the last 4 managers all in big games…it’s where the term “Spursy” came from. 4 different managers, same players ??‍♂️

Could of's would of's and should of's. We have had our fair share of referee decisions. Moura didn't get kicked and Kane was fouled outside the box. Lenglet should have scored, Dier shouldn't have been a clumsy fucker and Emerson should learn how to fucking cross but ultimately playing well for 45 mins is not enough.

If the players can't perform just because some fans are moaning, then they are weak. Play with passion and intensity from the start and the the whole stadium will stand with the team even in defeat. Just look at the second half, when we absolute battered Liverpool. The crowd was with the team even when we were down 0-2 because we actually tried instead of being passive.

One key lift to us and for the season ahead is Kulusevski his ability and threat completely unsettled Liverpool such a bonus to see him back.

2nd half warranted a draw unfortunately we're way behind that lot at the top after today. Also gives our rivals below opportunities to claw us out of the top 4.

Just read Conte has won 4 out of his last 11 not a good stat. It's reflecting in these dreadful 1st half performances. I love his passion what I worry about his stubbornness in changing it up. To start like we did at home drums up fear rather than expectation.

Critique Conte' tactics all you want but you can't legislate for monumental fuck up's like Dier's.

Same with Lloris and Royal at Arsenal - these 'mistakes' are remedied not on the training pitch but in the transfer market.
This is the thing that's doinf it for us. It wouldn't quite be so bad if were just one player having a brain fart every four or five matches. We have three or four doing it. So if it's not Dier next week, it'll be Davies. And if it's not Davies the week after it'll be Lloris. Or Emerson. Or someone in MF will lose their runner.

The sort of individual errors that hit a normal top 4 side once every couple of months we're getting once every couple of games, and sometimes more than once in the same game.

This is often a function of a side that surrenders territory and possession and so spend long periods defending, but also of a team that has accumulated over the years so many players who cannot maintain high performance levels while under pressure (and sometimes when they're not under any pressure at all).

Nevertheless, it's clear we can play and did so for certainly 60 minutes today.

We played well for more than 45 minutes. Not sure what game you watched, but we pressed them very well first half, with the players at our disposal it just didn't work properly for us.

We also hit the post and bar once each that on another day go in.

I think you're just in the mindset that if we're 2 down at HT we can't have played well.

Moura did get kicked and Sess could have comfortably been given as a penalty seeing as City had one against them almost exactly the same.

We had the chances to score despite the referee tonight.
