Gil and skipp will never be good enough, time to sell son if there are any takers(doubtful) get some players with some dynamism in, another ducking turgid performance which will end in a loss as we can’t score and they will get at least one.

Thought we started alright but that faded after about 15 minutes and since then no one has looked particularly fussed again. Second to everything.

I see the forum has decided Skipp is the scapegoat for a team's total lack of intensity and cohesion today. He's been no worse than anyone else and was one of the main reasons we had good momentum in the first 25mins with his forward passing and tenacity. He's had so many trips to the hospital from PEH and Perisic's 'passes' that he'll be delivering babies by the end of the game.

That's not what I'm seeing. First 20 minutes we looked decent and as they've gained more possession we've started to panic again. Then it sets in and it's total keystone cops time. There's a massive confidence problem in this side right now, and a real lack of trust for each other. I don't see a lack of effort or players going through the motions though.

I don’t get why we’re not even attempting to go back to basics… you know like when Kane and Son were prolific as a 2 man attack… not this Kane going walkabout about and Son not having a clue where he’s supposed to be playing.

I honestly don’t understand what we’re trying to do here at all.
- CM 2 getting completely outnumbered by their 3, meaning they get it and have the option of either: trying to get through 3 on their own, playing it back to 3 deep CBs or trying to hit the front 3 coming short. Which leads into the next point.
- Front 3 coming short for the ball but Gil and Son can’t hold the ball up whatsoever.
The only plan seems to be pass to kane, hope to god he holds it up, letting wing backs manage to get up the pitch before he plays it to one of them. Then hope he gets in the box before the wing backs cross it in, as Son and Gil have zero hope of winning any headers in there.
