I'd like to see Sar, maybe for SonTypical Spurs game except we haven't conceded.
I'd bring Sarr on for Gil and sure up the midfield. We win no second balls and have no control of the game because we almost empty the centre and with two totally ineffectual wide players were toothless.
Exactly. How much space is Doherty in? A half recent rwb would be attacking that space and doing something with itHonestly don’t think there’s really any point in moaning about that. Started out looking good but then reverted to business as usual. The only thing I’m seeing is yet again a reason why we need to spend a substantial amount of money on the squad. Until we do this is what we are going to see.
This is what doing me in. The supposed leaders in there are so muted and guilty of not leading at all. Every single of them are hiding, like something is holding them back. Is embarrassing. That's not what I'm seeing. First 20 minutes we looked decent and as they've gained more possession we've started to panic again. Then it sets in and it's total keystone cops time. There's a massive confidence problem in this side right now, and a real lack of trust for each other. I don't see a lack of effort or players going through the motions though.
I'd say its the worst piece of scouting ever but Ndombele wins that one.Gil looks like a younger brother asked to make up the numbers. He's so far out of his league physically it's laughable.
Freebies in the directors box
His pointing has been excellent todayWe can't argue with hojbergs goals and assists but his general play is regressing
Can you blame him?
Hojbjerg and Skipp is not a strong midfield. Turn to the bench to see why you've got - Sarr?
Son is in dreadful form. Turn to the bench ...........erm?
Gil is weak and lacks impact. Turn to the bench......erm?
Doherty has a lack of quality. Turn to the bench. ......Emerson?
It's pathetic for a supposed top 4 team
I really want Gil to be a success, bit I can't see it happening tbh
