Feel a bit from him he was apparently asked to resign after our game as they can’t afford to sack him.100%. I can't remember the last time a manager so clearly looked and sounded like he wanted the sack. He definitely has had enough and wants out. His post match interviews, he's just going through the motions. "Onto the next game", "we will get a win eventually", "boy are playing well they just need a bit of luck". You can tell the energy has gone from his demeanor. I think he knows the players need a new voice, the same as what happened with us and Poch. You either get rid of a load of players and go through a rebuild or you get rid of the manager. The problem for Leicester is they don't have the money for a rebuild, and Rodgers will also be an expensive sacking too. It's crazy how quickly it changes in football, they looked like a perfect example of how to run a club a couple of years ago, astute signings for decent money, excellent football style. Their recent signings seem to have been really poor though. It shows how fickle football is, you are always just a few signings either good from improving or bad, from falling away. We signed Kulu, Bentancur, Romero and flourished, they signed Daka, Soumare etc
the problem for them is simply really
Schmeichel out - true leader at the club replaced him with Danny Ward who is one of the worst keepers I have seen at professional level no idea how he is where he is!
The back up keeper is laughable even worse!
Full backs are injury prone and not actually very good at defending
Centre backs are declining the one that made the other average ones good isn’t very good anymore Evans
they gambled on Soumare who is dreadful he got burnt by Hojbjerg despite being fresh on!
Ndidi looks like he doesn’t really want to be there same with Tielemans
Vardy - close to retiring
recruitment in last two years has been shambolic gambling, Daka,Soumare,Bertrand,Faes,Vestergaard,Praet
Then throw in an arrogant manager who believes his team outplay everybody and are unlucky and it’s a recipe for disaster on top of a chairman who is worried about the clubs financials
Maddison is going to have to be sold,Tielemans and Ndidi also they will in fact probably go down!
