BBC saying Maddison is to sign a new contract until 2024 for £110k a week.

Doesn't mean to say someone like Man Utd won't go in for him this summer though

I still want to see how this lad will play under european football. Europa League won't be much of a test compared to Champions League but after R16 things might get interesting and we will see who the truly Maddison is.

I might be proven wrong in future but there is something about this guy that doesn't feel right.

We get accused of bottling a title race we were never in the lead of yet we're gonna excuse Leicester of throwing away a 14 point lead and put it down to injuries...okay.

Who gives a shit what other people say?

I'm using the logic used against us even then that logic is totally flawed...besides I'm not sure you can call throwing away a 14 point lead anything other than bottling can you?

Of course you can. There have been so many variables this season, but it's easier to say they've bottled it rather than think about everything else.

You're making excuses, I don't know why you're trying to be a Leicester/Rodger apologist.

You want to talk about inuries as if no-one else had any injuries, you want to talk about variables as if variables only made a difference to them, they were 14 points in front at one stage ffs.

Rodgers was speaking about doing well to be up there and qualifying for the Europa League is an achievement for this team with 3 games to go, what does that say about his mind state -what kind of a message is that sending out to his players. He'd given up the fight for the CL - thrown in the towel which is the very definition of bottling it.

I just hate 'bottling it' as a catch all excuse. It might come into it in the last few games of the season, but it's not the reason their form suddenly shifted with ten games to go. I've said they blew it, but I can also accept that there are other factors at play, rather than just bottling it - They were found out tactically, the teams around them strengthened, the injuries, etc.

Massive blow for Leicester to lose their stand-out player/defender just before the season starts. You don't expect leg-breaking tackles in a pre-season friendly

Mentioned in the Premier League thread too but that was such a disgusting challenge. The fouler even stayed on the pitch.

Put him in my fantasy team the other day. The curse strikes even before the season starts this year. Think I’ll keep spurs players out of it!

Expansion plan to 40k ( extra 8k ). Not to much to laugh about at this lot. New £100m training ground. PL title FA cup becoming a serious club. Built on the freak PL win superbly.

They're the best run club in the country, possibly even in Europe.
They are pretty well run but aren't their wages to turnover ratios pretty shocking?

(yes, I know I could probably Google this and find the answer myself but I'm currently on anti-biotics and drinking, so can't be bothered! ?).
