    Townsend and Carroll were both guilty of always wanting to beat one man first. So they ignored some good opportunities for an early pass. In the second half Townsend went from trying to beat a man every time he got the ball to trying to win free kicks!

    it's hard to guage at other clubs but i can see a LOT of games at the Lane not selling out this season. people will pay these huge prices if we are playing exciting football, scoring 2 or more a game and competing for 4th place. If our goals/game drops, we're midtable and without new star...

    oy vey. i thought lennon looked good last season. i more or less discount OT games because we have a massive infreiority complex there. lennon was ace against Hearts and has been for 2 years now since he sorted out his end product (all wingers fluff the odd cross)
