Lloris as a no10

no we have 5 standing on the line, 4 just in front of them, Lloris as a sweeper keeper. I did say park the bus:whistle: and tried to draw a goal, with a dot for penalty spot just in front of Lloris

I'm trying to be jovial, because I actually fear tears on saturday:cry::cry::cry::cry:

if you had asked me my feelings about this game halfway through their game v Arse my glass was full to the brim, with our injuries and suspensions, and their form, I would send them all out wearing boxing gloves, get 4 sent off, game abandoned and by time it's re-arranged we might be at full strength:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

my honest team or teams would be

Lloris-

--------Walker-----Dier-------Jan -------Dembele--------

---Wanyama-------Winks-----

--Son---------Dele------Eriksen

Kane

Vorm, Trippier, Wimmer, Onamah, GKN, Sissoko, Janssen

or

Lloris-

------------Wanyama----Dier---Wimmer -------

Walker------------------------------------------------Jan

---Wanyama-------Winks-----

--Son---------Kane------Eriksen

Vorm, Trippier, Onamah, GKN, Sissoko, Alli, Janssen
I'm sure Wanyama played as a CB when needed for Celtic, but I'm most probably wrong

Im looking at these teams being suggested and it really does highlight the unfortunate situation we are in this weekend.

Up against the form team in the league at a ground that we have struggled to get much from at all over the years.

To be honest I am struggling to come up with a lineup & formation that fills me with any confidence at all. I think Poch has his work cut out this weekend, a point would be a great result, 3pts would be a friggin miracle!

Lloris

Walker Dier Vertonghen Wimmer ????
Dembele Wanyama
Eriksen
Kane Son

is ???? any good at left back? when did we sign him;)

the LB is what has thrown everyone, perhaps BC might be right in throwing Ogilvie in the deep end, like we did Chrisy Hughton all those years ago v Man U in the cup, and he had Joe Jordon in his back pocket all night.

though a fellow taxi driver I know did say Ogilvie never really made any in pact up to his injury

Not a big deal I don't think.

I don't think we should play others out of position to fill Lb and weaken multiple positions. Play the most competent out of Ogilvie, Kwp, Trippier. Simple

Lloris
Walker Dier Wimmer Vertonghen
Wanyama Winks Dembele
Eriksen Son N'Koudou
Kane

Would imagine Vertonghen will not be instructed to go bombing forwards like Rose would, hence my inclusion of N'Koudou on the left to provide width. Eriksen played well off the right earlier this season and I feel Son would benefit running off Kane. Let him drift out to the left with N'Koudou and let Dembele or Winks fill his place. Going to be a very tough match.

Subs: Vorm, Alli, Janssen, Carter-Vickers, Walker-Peters, Onomah, Sissoko

I like this idea. Let's see if we can get away with playing 12 men...

Think I figured out the Sissoko signing....he was bought to sit on the bench for away games at Chelsea to protect Poch when things inevitably kick off!

I feel your fear too and have decided not to watch it Saturday it's going to be very painful, although a few weeks back i might have felt different before they hit a patch of form.
Saying that we couldn't beat them last year when they were struggling and we were 2-0 up, I can't see anything other than our first league defeat.

If we're going to clone a player and field him twice, surely we should have Verts at LB and CB rather than playing Wanyama at CB and in midfield. And we might as well have Kane playing off Kane as a front two.

You want to give a complete rookie his PL debut at stamford bridge without LM protection? Wow

I've deliberately included a CM3 with Dembele left side to mitigate this. All this "rookie" stuff make me laugh. When was the last time a rookie let us down any worse than regular's have ?

Rose was hardly a beacon of reliability in the last two games was he ?

i was tired ...... still tired and will always be tired

scrap that team or just play CCV in defense, sometimes the young kids have to be thrown in on the big stage, and sometimes it really does work

After Dier and Wimmers shoving against Monaco, maybe something like this:

Lloris
Dier, Wimmer, Vertonghen
Walker, Dembele, Wanyama, Alli, Sissoko
Eriksen
Kane

Or Son for Eriksen, mayhaps.

Sorry but Dier looks anything but convincing at CB. Even if it means rookies, let's get him back to his best postion

Lloris

Walker/Trippier CCV/Wimmer Verts KWP/Ogilvie

Dire Dembele

Son Winks N'Koudou
Kane

I know there are a few wildcards in there, but I have absolutely no faith in our so called first eleven at the moment.

Subs Walker/ Trips CCV/Wimmer Wanyama Janssen, Alli, Vorm, Sissoko.

Erikssen doesn't even merit a bench place atm.
