THIS. At 3-0 on Wednesday with 12 minutes to go you could feel the tension in the crowd that we may still not win this game. I couldn't believe the negativity. The two guys either side of me were getting so worked up and then we conceded and it was like we'd gone behind. Sure Madrid were pressing but they should be chasing the game, it didn't ever look to me that we would concede another 3 in the final 10 minutes but "we've done it before" was the type of thing you could hear in the stadium. This is a different Spurs and the fans need to catch up to that fact (West Ham against a half first team not withstanding). We should have been bouncing that last 10 minutes not biting the nails.
I don't think the tension was because it was spurs, it was because it was Madrid. All that needed to happen was Ronaldo to ping one in from no where and all of a sudden it's 3-2. It was an unbearably long final 10 minutes.
