Been gone in a lot on various forums. My take on is that, regrettably,. because he is on loan for a full season (and its not a youth loan), that he cannot come back after Brentford's season ends and play the last game for Spurs.

However against that, Spurs named Alex Pritchard in the squad (as an u21) in the squad list as at 31 January 2015 - so there may be a chance that Pritchard can play. must http://www.premierleague.com/conten...s/premier-league-squad-lists-january-2015.pdf

Think we'll need to wait and see !

That is interesting, I don't see any practical reason we'd do that without that possibility as we had no intent to bring back Pritch during the last opportunity to do so. Maybe there is a chance!

Agree, but its just possible the club decided that there was no downside (which is true - we are not number limited in the number of u21's on the list) and added him on that basis.

So think all we can do is to see what happens

The award Bamford won was a Football League award and not a PFA award.

Thanks for clearing that up. So the managers voted for the Football League Player of the Year.

We do not know who the PFA POTY for the Championship is. I doub that will be Bamford then as he was not voted for in the team. Managers and players see things differently

Yeah I suppose, but even so, why do it and the extra work if it were straight up mathematically impossible at that point in time?

Pritchard named in Championship team of the year. Don't understand how Bamford got POTY but not in TOTY.

I don't think Bamford deserves to be player of the year, he had 8 players score more goals than him though he had a good end to the season. Leadbitter has been brilliant to be fair, every time I have seen him

That said Keogh doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the championship team of the year been shocking this second half of the season

O/T It seems McLaren will leave regardless of whether derby get promoted or not as he wants to move back home. Real Madrid's Paul Clement is the favourite to takeover or the man they want

I really, really, really hope that this lad gets a chance with us next season. He's certainly good enough and looks like he's ready for the jump up to the Premier League. Can't wait to see him in action at the Lane.

Pritchard just scored a 30-35 yard free-kick. Brentford are currently in the play-off positions.

Pritch scores - deflected free kick - as it stands they are in the play-off. Lots of football left to play though.

Huge deflection, but adds another goal to the tally. Terrific season.

Clearly a couple of levels above anything on that pitch. Cant wait to see him in that no10 position for us.

If Derby don't manage to win today (and they are currently losing 0-1) and Brentford stay winning then Pritch is in the play-offs which can only be good for his development.

A lot of people I know are at Griffin Park today - unfortunately due to other commitments I was unable to join them

As it stands Pritchard and the Bees are hanging on to a play off spot by the skin of their teeth but as we've seen in recent weeks they have a tenancy to throw leads away and Derby are still surely favourites to get a point or more at home to Reading
