I really want to see Pritch get his chance next season which is part of the reason I'd like us to move Lamela on.

.
Lamela's got nothing to do with pritch getting his chance really. Prtichard plays predominantly on the left even though he starts as #10.

And from a totally dispassionate perspective, do we really want the Premier League further devalued by a club like Brentford in it? I'd rather see clubs like Wolves, Derby or Ipswich go up. Decent histories and fan bases and can make a go of staying up for a few years.
I dont see how Brentford going up devalues the Prem, if they go up it's because they deserve to be there.

Exactly

Not just that though, I think it enriches the EPL to see new teams making their way there

Watford and Wolves have been up and down a few times other the years, not that this gives them any less right to be there if they earn their place but I do feel their is something special about seeing a club like Bournemouth making it and if Brentford were to do so to (aside from my bias from them being my local team) it would be quite magical for the players and fans of clubs who would never have dreamed of mixing with the top teams in the country week in week out a few years ago when they were playing in lower leagues

I think it's a ridiculous statement to say any team coming up would devalue the EPL, ok it's never good to have teams who are just whipping boys and go straight down, especially when the three teams who come up all go down but football is about fairy-tales coming true from time to time and for teams like Bournemouth and Brentford promotion to the top flight would be just that

Pritchard is just ridiculous. He can do this league standing on his head. The kid is well on his way to becoming a master technician.

Very proud he's ours. The abundance of talent we have in youth is pretty embarrassing tbf. Feel sorry for other clubs....kind of.:sneaky:

I see him predominately competing with Eriksen for the number 10 role - Poch is clearly a fan of Chadli on the left. I also see Lamela's only possible future role as a number 10.

I could see Pritchard being a back up on the left, right or number 10 role next season.

I can kinda see where the guy is coming from but those Clubs like Wolves have been run poorly and are suffering from that now. I mean for people of my age group we would see Clubs like Sheff Wed and Forrest as Prem Clubs but as you say no Club has a devine right to be there just because they have a big fanbase and a decent history. I mean god damn, Forrest have 2 Champions League cups in their trophy room (or European Cups as it was then).

We do seem to be up there with the best in the land now in terms of youth development which is very nice to see (considering it's been quite a weak link all my life watching Spurs)

Southampton have probably been the best in recent years and continue to look strong

Man City and Chelsea are obviously doing very well but opportunites for these youngsters in the first team are very limited and they seem more commodities for FFP trading beyond that we're up there I think and long may it continue

A third goal for Blackburn - wow, things are heating up now

I could actually see him taking that no10 role from Eriksen, he has everything Eriksen has plus he's more competitive and has more body strength. And he's doing this in a stronger league than the Dutch league. Big statement I know but thats my opinion.

He could play across the three for sure, but I think our analyses team will spot how effective he's been coming from the left for brentford and want to play to his strengths.

Between him and chadli it'd be no competition imo, pritch is different gravy (never thought I'd ever use that term...).
