Negredo to Spurs - Pav to Roma - everyone's happy!

I wouldn't be happy. Pav has had almost a season in the EPL and there are a good number of people on here, myself included, that think he will do very well this year. Contrast that with an unproven, all be it very promising looking, player and I think I'd rather keep Pav.

Would be a brilliant signing for Hull, they'd be a much better side with him in the team and he'll make them good like he did with Almeria. Sadly for them though I could fully expect him moving on again next summer.....probably to us as well, lol!

Just because a player goes to a 'lesser' club doesn't mean he isn't a good player. Just because Modric plays at a team that came 8th last year does that mean he isn't a top 4 player?

Modric went to a CL challenging club...He did not go to a club that will be lucky to claim 16th place and havent managed to attract anybody the whole window. Well except:
Jozy Altidore (loan)
Steven Mouyokolo (undisc.)
Seyi Olofinjana (£3million)

he hasn't gone to hull yet! the reports were saying huntelaar was joining us or stuttgart before he went to milan, whereas earlier on in the window it was united/arsenal etc. same has happened with negredo so far - first liverpool, tottenham etc and now hull city, so i still reckon he'll end up at a better club. and probably not even in the premier league, his agent talks shit it appears. and it'll probably happen on the last day of the window when madrid are desperate.

but it's clear that he's not as good as his youtube video suggests, since other clubs would be talking about him by now.

He's a quality player. I've seen enough of him in the past 2 seasons to judge him on. BUT, he is expensive and a risk. He might not reproduce his La Liga form in the Premier League. If he was for sale at say £8m, there would be a lot more interest in him. But Madrid are asking for about twice that, so thats why many teams are put off. I dont think he'll go to Hull though. I think they are being used to engineer a move to a bigger club.

How do Hull have money to buy Negredo? If Madrid want 15-16 mil for him with a substantial amount upfront, I can't see Hull being able to afford that.
