All cups are priority for me unless it's a derby on the weekend. I know not everyone agrees.
I'm with you now, Poch and this team have to win silverware before he leaves in the summer and we have the mass exodus. Book it.

We sometimes put our best performances in when the whole world seems against us, so fingers crossed.

Resigned to losing. If we do win then yay we beat the goons, if we lose then we can just claim the Carabao Cup is shit.

League cup is within reach. 4 games. A semi that could be against Burton Albion. There is a realistic chance of winning this. It might be seen as the lesser trophy, but it's still a trophy. A trophy that Wenger never won in his time with Arsenal. I want us to go all out for it.

I'm not certain a league cup will do that but the cup is for the fans and the club. Players are interested in money and playing in the top tier of football.

Yes, but to be a top top team with a top top manager you have to win things, riggi, without that you are nothing. Just think what the players could do on twitter if we win the haribo cup!

Don't watch the pre-match build up, you know what it will be about...

Fully expecting the Arsenal fans to throw some chants towards Poch, hopefully we can silence them early on

It won't count
for the media.
They just shift focus
to the Prem.
then the Champions' League
then the World Cup.
Then 'but can they do it every year?.

It would represent progress and that's what the players who are being eyed by other clubs want to see. We've cemented ourselves in the top 5-6 clubs, usually in the top 3. Then we win a cup and the players think "yes, if I stay here another couple of years, we could win something bigger".

The first priority has to be continuing as Champions League regulars, because that's where the money is that we need to sustain the stadium and, more importantly, that's where the international profile is that we need to increase the global audience for the club. But to retain the key players in the squad, a modest-sized trophy would make a hell of a lot of difference.

Im not convinced personally. Though it would certainly do no harm!
