With a bit of luck he'll keep talking, prove what a selfish idiot he is and Southgate won't even need to defend his decision not to take him.
"Hey, Jack, Matt Law on Twitter has said you don't listen to good advice. I think you should ignore him."

"Fuck that, I'm going to go on Twitter and tell him that's not true."

"Don't you think people will consider you self-indulgent if you do that. Maybe you should leave well alone."

"I'm not self-indulgent. Now leave me alone and let me get on with this tweet. I'm going to be like that Clash song 'I fought the Law'."

"Yes. Yes you are..."

Yeah I don’t buy this Arteta would get leeway thinking. Arsenal fans expect to be challenging for the title let alone top 4. Otherwise what was the point of the emirates. 10 years from now with the NWHL if we were languishing in 6th I’d be furious and expecting better than a1st time manager with no experience no matter who he’d been studying under. This could a crucial period in their history. Honestly think Everton will get it right eventually. Leicester are rumoured to be spending big this summer. I think wolves will have a go. People think 6th is as low as they can go but if couple of those clubs get it right then they could easily be 8th before they know it.
Stop it!

You’re making me moist!

I love how much this is bothering him.

He's obviously completely cut up about this and won't let it go. Funniest thing is that he's obviously completely oblivious to the fact that it's making Southgates decision the more justified with every tweet.

First there was the tweets after the League Cup final and now this, he's clearly a petulant child who sulks when he doesn't get his own way

12 starts for the 6th place team... he's a bit part player for a middle of the road club. On a purely pragmatic level, any other 'top' country taking a player like that?

I said when he posted his first tweet that he'd just proven that it was the right decision not to take him....now he goes and does this :ROFLMAO:

@bbcsport_david: BREAKING: Arsenal to appoint Unai Emery as new manager. Thorough process produced 46yo Spaniard as unanimous choice. Available after leaving #PSG (1 Lg1 title, 4 cups), previously Sevilla (3 EL wins), not fluent English. Announcement + press conference likely later this week #AFC

Tbf best appointment they could of reasonably made.

They'll probably do well in the Europa and the FA cup, but can't see them denting the top 4.
