Although I think it was time for him to go, Instead of just thinking about the negatives surrounding him at the moment, what are your memories of him when it all was going well?

I always loved his over the top celebrations when we scored a goal, the one of him cheering Dempsey's equalizer with Fergie in the background in the pouring rain was brilliant.

The winner Bale got at Upton Park and AVB/Bale celebration was a great watch.

Chelsea fans wished him nothing but shit when he got the boot, but I'd like to wish him well in his next venture. We're 5 points off fourth, cruising in the Europa and in a quarter final of the league cup. He hasn't left us in a Ramos type situation so it's not all doom and gloom

Thanks AVB! :blackalien:

Steve Kean anyone? :cyclops:

Yep first win at Old Trafford since about the Stone Ages lol. Why couldn't we keep playing like we did in the first half of that game?

Win at Upton Park, win against Arsenal at home was great, the City home game, the Inter Milan game at home, the game away at Villa when we won 4-0 were some of the really good performances/memories. So sad to see him go, after last season I really thought he would be the guy to take us forward once we got better players in each position and a more balanced team. :(

There were bits of last season , about a year ago when we started playing superbly . Suddenly we didn't know how good he was going to get as we saw the team click...a Swansea game from Dec 2012 comes to mind ,we started hunting for the ball in packs .
Also a seemingly great portent for the future was half time at Arse we were 2-0 down with ten men (Ade sent off) . AVB sent the team out second half suddenly firing . Fuck , we thought , he can really manage in crisis situations . Yes we lost big time , but managed to give Arse a mini scare as we came back .
Forward a year 0-2 down half time....out for 2nd half comes a beaten team ( sigh )

There were some good times in his first season, but as time went on i started to feel more and more hollow over my football club, its the first time in my life i have not looked forward to watching.

You know something is seriously wrong when we are statistically doing well but feel like you do.....i too didn't have those butterflies in my stomach at KO like i have all my spurs life....a team reflects the manager they say and i wouldn't want to go out on the lash with Avb zzzzzzzz.:(

First win at Old Trafford in ages.....Got 4 points off Man U for the whole Premier League season.

There was AVB Time, instead of Fergie Time! :)

The only player he ever won over seems to be Bale, this season noone has played for him, no will no passion. Will never forget win at OT. COYS

These pictures and the others of him celebrating show the passion he has for the game and Spurs. It's such a shame it didn't work out for him and I was gutted when I saw the news but it felt like a relief.

Thanks for the good times André, and good luck in the future.

AVB was the right choice and the right direction for the club to take. I have never before levelled criticism at Daniel Levy, but think he has got this wrong, villas boas needed and deserved more time, he will go on to pick up a top European managers job and have success. The hierarchy at spurs had a duty of care to endure the systems in place to support and nurture a young coach. My AVB memories are the way in which he conducted himself generally and promoted the club, very refreshing coming straight after redknapp, I wish you well AVB and pleased you are part of spurs now.

My personal favourite memories will be his beard bristling against my ballsack while I lay back on my bed and pulled my legs back so my feet were by my ears. Whilst he was playfully tinkering with my genitalia, I would ask him to talk about the Vietnam war or Wagon Wheels. He knew so much about stuff. And he made it all sound so sexy.

The cuddles. They made everything worthwhile. He'd look at me deep into my eyes and say 'I've got you Bom Bom, I've got you'. He was so loving and caring. He would compliment me on my penis, calling it a thing of immense dimension. I'd get embarrassed and laugh, then he would laugh too, and when he laughed too hard he always snorted. It sort of annoyed me at first but it's one of the things I'll miss most now he's gone.

One day I was feeling really down and he came into my room and said 'Hey penis gravy (one of his many pet names for me), are you ready to dance'? When I looked up, there he was, naked but for a Madonna cone bra he made especially to cheer me up. He danced for hours. His willy flapped up and down between his belly button and his testies. He sang 'Get into the groove' and 'Holiday' over and over. It cheered me up no end.

Thanks for the memories Andre. I love you.

Oooh tough crowd. Yes, yes they have.
Now come on, bomber. Don't do yourself down like that. They were all, all 14K of them, much much worse. That was an incredibly emotional post by your standards anyway. He really did mean a lot to you I can tell.

Also, good luck Andre. Was rooting for you until the end but well, yeah.
