Celebration with Bale at Upton Park, but the win over Man Utd was a ideal AVB Spurs display. High pressing, determination and dogged till the end. We got lucky in the end but was a great day. Sad to see him go stupid move IMO, but WHL has a poisonous atmosphere these days, unless we fall upon a couple of Bales and a genius manager I dont think we can maintain success as our fans will never accept a period of poor performances. Funnily enough under AVB I dont remember going through a bad patch where we lost a shed load of games we genreally always turned it around and went on a run.

Will miss you AVB good honest manager who will find success away from our toxic league, media and fans!

My personal favourite memories will be his beard bristling against my ballsack while I lay back on my bed and pulled my legs back so my feet were by my ears. Whilst he was playfully tinkering with my genitalia, I would ask him to talk about the Vietnam war or Wagon Wheels. He knew so much about stuff. And he made it all sound so sexy.

The cuddles. They made everything worthwhile. He'd look at me deep into my eyes and say 'I've got you Bom Bom, I've got you'. He was so loving and caring. He would compliment me on my penis, calling it a thing of immense dimension. I'd get embarrassed and laugh, then he would laugh too, and when he laughed too hard he always snorted. It sort of annoyed me at first but it's one of the things I'll miss most now he's gone.

One day I was feeling really down and he came into my room and said 'Hey penis gravy (one of his many pet names for me), are you ready to dance'? When I looked up, there he was, naked but for a Madonna cone bra he made especially to cheer me up. He danced for hours. His willy flapped up and down between his belly button and his testies. He sang 'Get into the groove' and 'Holiday' over and over. It cheered me up no end.

Thanks for the memories Andre. I love you.

Dude, That is some serious messed up shit right there! Still I am sure Avb appreciates your thoughts

Comeback against Man City last season where we tore them to pieces in the second half. That was the football I'd always wanted us to play under AVB

The gusto and raw emotion he showed when we scored is an endearing image that will live with me (in the bank) for a long long time

I think it was telling that the celebrations this season were a lot more reserved, at the time I was concerned it indicated trouble behind the scenes and so it proved

Now come on, bomber. Don't do yourself down like that. They were all, all 14K of them, much much worse. That was an incredibly emotional post by your standards anyway. He really did mean a lot to you I can tell.

I was shocked at the sincerity tbh, not like him at all.

I agree mate, I was at that game and the feeling in the crowd was a delight! I still think the game at old trafford was the one for me, Really though we had turned a corner with him then. I like the guy on a personal level, Though when it came to Spurs and managing our club the way he did, I ended up hating him.

yeah. Bomber is an old romantic at heart.

I'm still saddened by this. Not angry or upset. Just sad. Thought things might be different this time.

*sigh*

Man U and City games for me. The emotion he got from that Bale winner really was fantastic.

Hope you have many more memory's like this AVB.

I'll miss how really happy I was to support this club during his first and only full season here. Winning at Old Trafford, beating the Gooners, our European nights. The ginger grin, the fist pumping celebrations, the Steffan/Andre over exuberations which met each goal... not to mention the Andre/Gareth bromance... It all seemed to fit, it all seemed so right.

But it soured so much so quickly... things didn't go as he, or we, expected. He got snappy with us, with the press... he wasn't happy and that in turn made us unhappy. And like all fierce love affairs, where we seem so perfectly suited for each other, it burnt out all too briefly. Farewell Andre, good luck with the Rallying and all the best to you.

We'll always have Paris (... or not, seeing as you even spurned the attentions of the attractive french tart for us.)

These pictures and the others of him celebrating show the passion he has for the game and Spurs. It's such a shame it didn't work out for him and I was gutted when I saw the news but it felt like a relief.

Thanks for the good times André, and good luck in the future.
yep, this. even got a slight tear seeing those photos of AVB and Bale again :(

And yet it were a greater grief
To watch it withering, leaf by leaf,
Than see it pluck'd to-day;
Since earthly eye but ill can bear
To trace the change to foul from fair.

Amen to that, i waited a long time for that result and remember all the trips back from O/T over the years with nothing to show for it.

One of the best days supporting Spurs i have had.

I'm just appreciative of seeing Spurs actually dictate games home and away for pretty much the first time as a fan.
Just a shame that (for what ever reason) we didn't have/couldn't get the players to turn that possession (and it was mostly good possession play) into real chances or creation.

I'll whisper it, but i would much prefer a possession based game (albeit with a higher tempo) then the harem scarem you attack we attack see who comes out top (or defend and counter) approach that i have witnessed at the lane for most of my years as a fan...

Cheers AVB, it was a lot more relaxing going into games knowing we would have most of the play... (well until recently)

United win, was great to get one in my lifetime against Fergie.

Also beating the Arse was pretty good. Lane was on fire.
