Not happy to be honest as its just a waste of time.
You could see he had basic deficiencies and it would fail, very disappointing.
There is no pleasure in "i told you so" in this instance.
Man management, tactical, investor relations, or all of the above??

As a bloke I liked how smart and intelligent he was, but never rated him as a coach/manager. My biggest fear was always he treated football as too robotic and not enough about the actual game. It's a shame it's come to it but he was taking the club absolutely nowhere and it was blindingly obvious from about January onwards.

Wish him all the best, he'll be a Sven type manager that always manages to nab a top job but won't have a long lasting career at any particular place.

For me though, the biggest problem still lingers at Spurs...our dear leader.

Funnily enough there is only 1 person to blame and it isnt AVB.
He simply wasn't up to the job at all you could totally see that behind the scenes.

OK, AVB was a Levy appointment but he duped the vast majority on here, myself included. If he turned out to be not quite the man his smooth rhetoric, and record in Portugal, suggested then I'm not sure anyone is to blame for this other than AVB.

Unfortunately, Mr Bale covered up those deficiencies in respect of us, the fans, for a long time.

I desperately wanted him gone ASAP. However, it is so disappointing that we keep changing our manager. I just wish they would pick the right bloody one (and stay with him).

What is your feeling on the players that have come in? Good enough? Please say that we have something lined up in terms of a replacement and that we aren't just going to give TS a go.

It really is a daft situation and there should be a lot of fingers pointed in a lot of directions, including at a large number of the fans themselves who have made it very tricky in recent months to enjoy going to games.

But that being said, I don't think keeping AVB will improve the situation.
I don't really buy that. We have a certain character as a club and with that comes a certain expectation on the way we play. He never understood that. The atmosphere is a symbiotic thing, the performances raise the crowd and vice versa, since his complaints about the atmosphere the fans have tried but he has not changed his ways.

If it's a choice between Tim and Fabio short term hopefully it can be Fabio. Maybe not what we need long term but I think he could set the ship straight.

The strongest personal relationship for the fan (or at least this one) is with the manager, and I feel badly for how this ended. But if I were to rank it, in recent years:

1 BMJ. 2 Arry. 3 AVB. 4 Ramos.

Which ranking is derived from personal qualities, success on the pitch and style of play.

I wonder how long the temp. appointment will be? Is Levy going to wait to see who is free after the world cup?

Total arrogance
Reliance of stats of players and not using his eyes
Not listening to anyone else
Refusing to meet with Daniel and Franco about players
Ostracising the rest of the club from the 1st team
Rude behind the scenes to all staff

Get the feeling with Tim that he will be all over the English players like Lennon, Townsend and Defoe if he gets it. Capello can barely speak English, I don't want him managing an English team.
