It would seem odd to me that Baldini was in favour of booting AVB, seeing as AVB was behind (or at least in favour of) Baldini's appointment... Yes, I'm a "more time" voter.

Sorry, yep, I meant in terms of the day to day stuff rather than hiring and firing. We seem to have an awful lot of egos and opinions shouting to be heard at the club.

"Levy is to blame, he wants to be involved in everything. He has fallen out with AVB so its just time now" Not my words ;)

That last tweet was ITK

I think this was always the problem with Levy effectively taking on DOF responsibilities in the Redknapp era, once he had got a taste for it and now has his army of minions, advisors and stats men giving him advice on transfers and other stuff its hard to then relinquish control again. And that's before you bring into it that when you control the purse strings and its his/his companies money he is going to naturally want to keep a close eye on things.

We must be one of the worst clubs a potential new manager can look at...high demanding fans who not only crave good results, but the results must be accomplished playing the best football of the world. On top of this we have a board who is not looking to spend any money outside what is absolute neccessary. And i forgot...if you should happen to get a bad run in form or results the chairman has almost the same impatience as the fans and will quickly remove you.

Stop talking sense!!!

Why is it that Defoe gets flack for not scoring in the same shitty system that Soldado plays on under the same fuck whited manager and yet Soldado is starved.

Ffs neither of them score for the same bloody reason!

Because Defoe is Offside. Always.

Things could be much, much worse! Some of you need to be careful what you wish for. An overhaul is NOT the answer. Baldini and Levy must stay, or else we will freefall to the bottom half and be in a REAL mess.

No we don't and longer this goes on, more his win% will fall. Seeing he took side that had finished 4th and his predecessor took over side that was bottom of the table, there seems to be quite little between them...

hate to be pedantic, we do actually have one more point than we did after 16 games last season.

It really is a daft situation and there should be a lot of fingers pointed in a lot of directions, including at a large number of the fans themselves who have made it very tricky in recent months to enjoy going to games.

But that being said, I don't think keeping AVB will improve the situation.

Where to start? Where to...

It's a sad, sad situation. The problem is that, in all honesty, AVB will get the chop when it isn't all his fault. Daniel Levy deserves a lot of the blame in my opinion. Yes, he does a great job of running this club, the x's and o's, keeping us financially sound. But he is far too involved in footballing matters for my liking. If he wants to make himself manager then why doesn't he do it? There isn't a 'Levy...keep out' thread, is there? A thought, maybe?

Anyways, back to the matter at hand. AVB is walking the plank and taking a shortcut to the ocean. I, for one, had complete faith in him when he took over. But maybe I was blinded by his work at Porto and my hatred for Chelsea, who were sacking a manager a week. Maybe Gareth Bale's performances last season afforded AVB a lot more time at this club than he would have had without Wales' finest? I think his goals probably glossed over a lot of AVB's ineptitudes.

I think we have a superior squad to last season, some of the players we have bought are class (honest) but he just cant get the right team out. Too much rotation, too many players out of position, too little idea.

I don't think he has much, if any, time left at Spurs!

Woop woop! Now let's move on swiftly from this series of fuck ups, there's still plenty to play for this season.
