Aren't we supposed to have a no excuse culture now.

Winners take responsibility, losers make excuses.

Which is precisely why AVB made sure to express his views on the ever worsening atmosphere at White Hart Lane after a win.

No excuse making. Just pointing out a home truth.

Jedi mind tricks. It meant his fans would be louder to show support and it meant the people who don't like him would also be louder to ensure he can't use the crowd as an excuse. Either way it resulted in a more lively atmosphere.

Is there anyone who doesn't like him?

Anything negative can be defined as a whinge. Just because some feel something needs to be said doesn't stop it being a whinge.

You can whinge even if the winge needs to be said and is still fully justifies, it is still a whinge.

A whinge after all is to complain and complain is exactly what he did.

Sorry but that is rubbish, he saying what he percieves to be a problem and once again you are seeing something which is not there. (imo)

The problem is that the team isn't playing well. The atmosphere is secondary.

If we were just all at sea that would be one thing, but we are dominating possession at a level I don't think any Spurs fan has ever seen, and yet despite the opposition literally (Jaime) handing the ball over to us and saying "come at me bro" we don't have a semblance of an attacking plan.

The atmosphere was great on wednesday night and we struggled just as hard to overcome an organised but limited Hull side as we did at the weekend. The crowd was a lot better, the system was the same, the problems were the same. Is the crowd the problem, or is it the system?

The worrying thing is we are not seeing a gradual improvement, if anything teams have now all identified our problem and are much better at exploiting it than earlier in the season.

The system was the same, the players were different. It was 8 or 9 changes from the Sunday game or something?

He said what needed saying, its been getting worse at the lane for several seasons and it needed to be said. How the hell that can be called whinging is beyond me.

it wasn't whinging it was defecting the focus from another piss poor home performance

It was a statement that was true, because there are too many 'supporters' like you. Also we won, a manager in the results business is hardly going to feel like he needs to deflect attention from victory.

Without a doubt.

No deflecting at all, its should be obvious to real supporters that the team will be better if the fans get behind them. There are to many brain dead morons who bitch as soon as they sit down.

The crowd was different, the players were different. The opposition was the same, the system was the same, and the play was largely the same. It was good that the opposition (at least the style and mentality) was the same as that gives us a constant to judge the rest by. The crowd was much improved, so either the players that came in are a lot worse than the ones that they replaced and couldn't play better even with the crowd behind them, or the system is failing.

It only requires about three tweaks (positioning and intention of the CMs when we have the ball, the positioning of the full backs, how the attacking trio combine and interact with the lone striker) but I'm still waiting to see those tweaks be made. AVB has tried different personnel across all the competitions, so its not like Soldado isn't suited to the system, or Eriksen is the answer to all the problems. The system clearly needs some work

Oh it definitely needs work, and i'm sure they're working very hard on it. We just can't be too surprised that it does need so much work considering how many new players there are.

Quick!

Someone find AVB's email address!

We must inform him of these tweaks immediately!

I think your right in saying we haven't seen any improvement yet and I'm expecting someone to really punish us soon which might wake a few up especially andre as I get the feeling he maybe a bit blinkered like wenger and not see anything wrong.
