Song of the night has to be "His eyes are offside, his eyes are offside, Mesut Ozil, his eyes are offside" followed closely by "Is this loud enough for you?" to AVB. To be fair he waved at that.

I also liked I've seen your mum, on Jeremy Kyle.

Didn't particularly like the booing to Park Lane give us a song.

Anyone want to tell me what the tune we were singing 'I'll take Lamela with me' was? My mind's gone blank.

Just chatted to a fellow *yid* on the train and he said the atmosphere was decent tonight. Also said Lamela played well and we deserved to win.

Good to hear! Onto the next round!

Was well loud on the telly, innit. To quote my girlfriend, who knows nowt about football bar: "Where are you playing?" "At home" "Really? Why's it so loud?"

The positive singing when we went 1-2 down was quite something

Block 7 was dead. Well apart from the miserable piece of shit that didn't stop complaining about Avb the entire match. didn't clap or cheer once. You wonder why people like him pay for a season tkt if you don't enjoy a second of any match.

Agree with that, watched on a stream and could hear the fans singing, even when Hull scored, I could hear the chants of the fans cheering us on.

It was a Cup game did he expect anything else? Cup football is life or death, win or lose, now or never.

It will always generate it's own atmosphere, you will always have the fans behind you in that situation as it's all or nothing and a win leaves you with a better feeling than a lucky 1-0 win.

There is a trophy at stake just 3 games away, fans start to want it, hope for it, shout for it.

Didn't hear it, but presumably the Crowded House 'Weather with you' song?

The new experience for me atmosphere wise was the booing of the Hull penalties. Never seen anything like it, really. It was amazing. I've heard us jeer and whistle but this was incredibly loud noise, more than when Ghaly threw down his shirt. I'd say the jeering of their penalties was as loud as every time Judas name was read out on the opposition team sheet. Fucking brilliant. I now think we should always do that as this is the first penalty shoot out I can remember winning, so it obviously helped.

Personally, I loved doing the slow clap (you can hear me start it at 8:22 on this! ).

If done well, and properly slow, that must be much more off-putting than any booing or waving!

Personally I think a slow hand clap is best done at a clap every five seconds, not every 3.5 like you did it. You should never be allowed to slow hand clap again and whoever chose you to do it should be fired. Whilst I accept a beat of 3.5 might get better results I'd much rather be entertained by slow handclapping than win slow handclapping contests.

*Wonders what on earth it could be that's influenced this post. Drugs probably.
