I'd be tempted to play Kranjcar in front of him for the Liverpool game if indeed we do play Bale at LB in order to give him a bit more protection down that side. Kranjcar is able to get back and put a tackle in.

The amount of football berb&keane has seen, he must be a scout or something surely?

Either that or unemployed with a trust fund.

Johnson has a ligament tear so this should mean Bale will not face as much attacking down that side when we go to Anfield.

i have one more option and one that i think is the best option and that can and will happen! The man i speak of kept ronaldo and others quite when he last played left back and impressed everyone! He is out on loan at the moment but as the club who have him currently are not allowed to make transfers and that includes loans mean he should be back jan 1st!
