Don't worry this is just boristm's formula.

Popular opinion/knowledge - common sense and rationale x stubbornly defending incorrect view consistently = troll level 100.

I'm sorry but are you fucking serious? !!!!!

Yes I am. For the level of hype that surrounds him I expect to see much more than he actually offers. There are several players on the Real squad alone that are better than him but will never get the same level of recognition - Alonso, De Maria, Ozil, Benzema.

Same game different player - judge for yourself.

Just Reina being Reina. Have said consistently that he is over-rated and not the level of keeper a lot of people think he is.

Said this for years, always get slated by people. He had one, maybe two good seasons. Typical Liverpool player to be fair.

The funny rating is out of pity.

He can copy Ronaldo all he wants, he is a great player to emulate. If you want to copy a player it won't be Emile Heskey

A lot of rugby players started copying johnny wilkinsons's stance, even the hand motion. Seemed to work for them!

Bale needs to be scoring more from free kicks, it was what he was famous for at Southampton and he hasn't scored many for us at all really.

Seriously anyone even utters the word overrated when talking about Ronaldo is utterly devoid of credibility. He may be a divaish, preening ponce, but he has totally dominated the two biggest leagues in the world.

There's another player who hits them like Ronaldo and that's Drogba, Bale's been trying them for a while but never quite been getting them right, I wonder if Mr André has spotted something and made a suggestion.

It didn't get a deflection IMO.

i think the confusion comes from the wicked swerve he put on the ball, nobody would guess that, we'd all assume it must have taken a deflection and that's what makes it so special.

looks like his decisions to move away from the beckham style and more to the Ronaldo style might pay dividends. I reckon he'll score us 5 FKs or more this season.

He's certainy lost a little something in the last 3 or 4 yrs. He's still a good keeper. Even when he was a genuinely superb stopper, he always dropped at least 2 or 3 absolutely cringeworthy clangers a season. Often in quick succession. Has never ever had a single one mentioned by the meeja though.

It was at the height of the "Spanish football is da bestest EVA" paper frenzy of 4 or 5 yrs ago though. Bit difficult to point something out when the journos' mouths were filled with the closest Spaniard's nuts in their mouths I guess.

Yeah Drogba has the same technique as well. Ronaldo probably tried 500 times before he started getting them right too. I doubt AVB has had anything to do with Bale's progress.
