This will be an intensive and high tempo game. Perfect after yesterdays snoozefest.

A bit concerned about the Dier-Trippier axis at the right of the defence, but it'll be a good barometer of how much Dier has grown he got absolutely skinned by Rooney at Old Trafford when we lost 3-0.

Drunk Spurs fans have already been kicked of a flight this morning.
Guy at work is flying out to Eindhoven for a store visit, and a group of our fans were boarding same flight. One or two the worse for wear and not allowed on!!

I don't get why people think it's a good idea to get pissed before a flight. Just wait.

I think Edwards might make the bench, maybe if we are in a comfortable postion, we might send him on, or else maybe the last 5mins at the end to inject some pace.

I think the youth team, even thou they are in Germany are on a different training/match preparation program. Now a days pre match routine is quite scientifically planned out, from what and how you eat to what and how u train. So If Edwards is training with the main side. He is most likely gonna be set in their prematch schedule.

I am looking forward to a good match, 2 teams that are delighted to be playing champions league and really don't have much experience with each other.

I am kinda expecting to see Wimmer and Dier at the back. With Jan on the bench in case it doesn't work out.

COYS!
Edwards trained with the first team before the CSKA match as well, and then started for the U19s.

I fucking hate flying. I go away about four times a year and just hate foying so for me having a few drinks help alot. Generally I will have three sambucca or vodka shots before boarding then sweet talk the stewardess and get a fair few whiskeys as it calms me down.

I also get freaked out when i have anyone i know flying. My folks going away this thursday and im freaking the fuck out.

Ye I'm not a big fan of it myself. Always thought drinking would make my paranoia worse though..

If you haven't tried it then get some Valium, especially seeing as you fly so much. You can get them prescribed from your doc and they helped me go from mid flight panic attacks to having a relatively calm flight. Also good for comedowns!

Change your name! Then what you think may happen when you fly may not!!

Not feeling good about this one. They took down Dortmund the same weekend we beat city and in a similarly convincing fashion. We will do well to come away with a result considering our injury list.

If Poch gets them fired up and set up well we might win. If we are slow out of the blocks and again fail to take chances I can only see a defeat. Not usually pessimistic btw.

Same as with any match we play: if we don't start quickly and continue playing with pace and urgency we will have problems.

He trained with the first team out in Russia before playing against CSKA U19s and not for the seniors.

He is no where in the youth team. So it's the bench tonight I guess.

Don't really want to clog up this thread, so linking it to the youth league thread for those interested.

Hopefully not a late injury for a member of the 1st team squad. I hope he has genuinely earned a chance. Well I suppose either way it doesn't matter much to him if he is on the bench for an away CL game

Such a joke of a competition. Should play loads of kids, 18 yo and under, and hope for the best. Don't think anyone can argue that participating means a hindrance in the league and those important domestic cups. :troll:

4 points from next 2 games would be great
would take a point, going to be a tight group
fancy us to beat moscow at home so we will probably need 4 or 5 points from the other 3 games

Why? There are over 100,000 flights a day, a DAY. The odds of dying in a plane crash are something like 1 in 30 million and even if you are in a crash the chance of surviving are 25% What is there to possibly get freaked out about?
