Not too long ago. Remember reading some coach or whatever said he'd be better than Haaland. That's quite a statement though.

Looks a real talent at 18 but one would imagine the career progression will be to Leipzig before ripping it up in the Bundesliga then commanding top whack.

He’s 18 and and would be behind richarlison and Kane, makes more sense to play away at another club than get 5 mins at the end of a game once a month

Colour me confused...he's 18, highly rated but virtually no first team experience. He needs minutes. Plus, we've shown an increased willingness to do this sort of thing with Gil and Sarr since Paratici came in. In fact, IIRC, it was a condition of Metz selling Sarr last summer that we loan him back. I think it's completely reasonable to include that as an option to entice Salzburg to sell this summer.

Maybe so, but not for this window I don’t believe. We already signed two players 12 months ago, that are loan outs, and possibly again. It also takes away from our transfer budget.
