Ade, Capoue, and Kaboul were frozen out. Stambouli was not.

If we bring in another CM, Stambouli is looking at 4 CMs ahead of him...and that assume Demeble is used as CAM. I like him, but he would be better off on another team if he really wants to get playing time.

We had plenty of ITK last fall that there had been a "player mutiny" of some sorts with Kaboul and Ade leading with Capoue and Lennon following behind. After the Stoke game I believe? All 4 were dropped and almost not a single one played for us again for the rest of the season. Never heard anything about Stambouli though.

Yeah - there were just 4 players in the October mutiny.

Stambouli's main run in the team came in Jan-Feb, he only dropped out of the side after Bentaleb came back from CAN.

Apparently he hangs out more with the Belgians than the Ade-Kabs-Capoue French-speakers group. Then there's his bromance with Dier.

There goes the last DM we really have. I know, Veljkovic, but I don't really think he's going to be here come the start of the season (I want him loaned out, personally).

Maybe we land Suarez, but I personally want a player who undoubtedly will add quality and step in day one and be the starter. I think Suarez is rather talented, but I also think he's going to take some time to settle and there is similar potential he ends up like Capoue/Stambouli in a couple seasons time.

I'm really surprised stambouli was never given a decent run in the team, his work ethic was there and would have given the back four decent protection. But poch knows his players more than I do so I trust his judgement.
