So Berbatov wants to leave Fulham and remain in the premiership, so how bout we sign him on 12 month contract with the view of a further year, he is still quality and would cost much as a transfer fee, wages may be a little high but levy can negotiate that, could be just what we need for the system we play, what do u guys think??

Pretty sure I read somewhere that Berbatov said he wouldn't have considered coming back to Spurs in the summer he joined Fulham.

Can't see Levy wanting him, considering the way Berbatov left the club. I haven't forgotten the fact that he refused to play for us, then went behind Levy's back to meet with Fergie, and I doubt Levy has either.

I wouldn't say no but I just don't think he'd work well with AVB's instructions. He's very much a player who waits until the ball is at his feet rather than someone who will press to win the ball back.

Yeah, i have to agree, he's not what we're missing at all - we can't even provide service to Soldado who works twice as hard as Berbatov does to make runs, find space and be available, so other than as backup, which i don't think he'll want to be, i don't see the point.

We need someone creative to play just off the striker & link the midfield and our attack, someone willing to really put a shift in. No idea who, but Berbatov is not it.

I'd suggest VDV but i just miss that dude generally.

A beautiful, beautiful player. Would have loved to have seen him back the summer he joined Fulham but I'm not sure he is motivated these days.

I still love Berbatov despite him cheating on me.

He does offer a focal point and can hold the ball up.

However, he has contributed to Jol getting fired twice and needs a firm manager to keep him in line.

No way AVB would take him on.
Brilliant player but he was too good for us then apparently
Should never have left us but he did in a most unsatisfactory fashion.
Bed, lie in it Dimi.
I can neither forget nor forgive.

If we can shift out Ade, then I would take him for the rest of the season.

I think it should happen just so we can see the dynamic duo of Adebayor and Berbatov upfront together.

greasy spineless snake monster, let him rot with Fulham. AVB wouldn't want or play him either, he's lazier than Adebayor and Beniot combined

On a serious note I wouldn't take him back now, but the Berbatov of old does seem to be exactly the sort of striker we need if we are going to persist with the current system.

Neither JD or Soldado seem particularly suited to our current setup, and although Adebayor would fit the system better, we all know what issues we have with him.

I'd rather we were looking for the next Berbatov rather than trying to buy back the old one.

I can't see it, but I definitely would, especially with Adebayor continuing to pick up injuries out of nowhere.
