Some ppl with their first half comments need to look at themselves and ask do I really want to support this club anymore.
We are embarking on a season of change, with or without Kane, and times will sometimes be hard.
The negativity that spews from some is toxic.
Couldn't care how many negative comments I get for its the truth - if they were constructive in any way then no issue.

He’s certainly given opposing fans all the ammunition they need this season - especially if he stays. “He thinks you are shit…” etc.

Clubs given rivals ammo since day dot. This is a tough one though.

The commentating didnt help, it was poor and biased.

Following the pre season games we've had the players have played 45 minutes building to 60' rising and six players got 90 minutes under their belts tonight a couple more 80' so it's been building up nicely. Hojberg had 45' I suspect he'll up that against Arsenal ready for the full 90' against City.
A very good workout all round.

Wny would you hate to admit one of our players played well?
I think it is more that it is just a false dawn. I don't rate him and I am used to seeing him be shit, but I can acknowledge he played well today. You can guarantee he could start against Arsenal and would be dog turd.

The solution is quite simply to not be shit. If we're top of the league and winning games, they won't be singing that.

So if we beat Arsenal by a few we win this thing, right? Hope we get a trophy. Get to stick it with the Audi Cup and Peace Cup.

Positives
New keeper didn’t put a foot wrong and looked good
Skipp didn’t let a poor first half affect him and looked more at home in second
SB grabbed a hopefully confidence boosting goal

Negatives
We were a distant second to the Chelsea starting 11
Midfield totally outclassed with Dele a passenger and Skipp struggling in that first half
With the Midfield outgunned the front three were toothless

Enigmas
Aurier looked good and a class above Doherty
Winks did a good job when he came on.
Dier needed to do so much better To mop up the Moura screw up.
Dele had couple of moments in their third outside of that was poor

Good run out and should take some confidence, particularly as it looked like we were in for a pasting at one stage.

Yep. 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 1 per goal. So far we've had Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea and Chelsea 2-2 Tottenham. currently Chelsea 8, Spurs 3, Arsenal 1. Therefore if we win while scoring two (or draw 4-4) we share the trophy with Chelsea, if we win while scoring at least 3 (or draw 5-5 or higher) we win outright, if we lose while conceding 4 Arsenal share the trophy with Chelsea, if we lose while conceding 5 plus Arsenal win outright, any other result and Chelsea win outright. Simples!

I can understand the kneejerking and overreactions when there are actual points at stake.

When we're playing a meaningless friendly and missing half over half of our first team under a new manager and people are writing off our entire season....c'mon guys.

After getting hyped from the 5-0 thrashing of Roma with David Bentley looking like prime Beckham, followed by the worst start in the club's history, I've sworn to never take anything in pre-season seriously.

I think the tweaks that worked were Chelsea's changes weakened them.

In fairness, we were coming back into the game. Chelsea started at a higher intensity and waned quickly after the break. We generally kept a more balanced approach to subs.

Kante is just a cheat code, though.

Son with his back to goal is horrible. We need a CF.

Skipp first half was too far on the right and also too advanced, that's not his game.
