They looked pretty average against Everton, and we will be buoyant after that ruthless second half against Southampton. 3-0 Chelsea.

We’re strong… so are they; but they’re not quite clicking as yet. 2-2 draw

This for Conte is his biggest game, we win he will beam from ear to ear, we lose the players will pay in training the next week. I think we will win

Tough tough tough. We have a terrible record at Chelsea and as much as we like to deride them and everything about them, they are going to be a very tough nut to crack again this time.

I thought they looked very strong at Goodison. They were well co-ordinated and they were their usual intimidating selves. Keeping possession was their major strength and winning the ball was equally impressive. For me, this is the most worrying thing about them. They intimidate the opposition physically and it's bloody difficult to get the ball off them in midfield.

I'm afraid at the moment I can't see anything but a home win but I hope to God that I'm as wrong as I usually am with match predictions.

Hopefully Rudiger is a big loss for them in this fixture

Great player to have in your team, winds the opposition up, top shithousary and gets the home crowd up!

Basically he was an absolute ****

The pressure has to be on them, post Russian era and all that. It’ may only be 3 points but it’s the confident feed we need-win this we’re flying. . They will feel it’s a 3 pointer guaranteed so have everything to lose. so let’s just enjoy it and see what happens.

This is where the mentality comes in with players like Perisic and Richy.

Go out and believe we can do it and we will win.

Last season we played pretty well first half and had a goal harshly disallowed on HT, and never showed up second half and conceded 2 quick goals.

This will be a really tough test, even though they are a bit of a mess currently they still have a very strong team. Think they will struggle when they are playing twice a week as outside of the first XI the squad does look a little weak. Particularly cm/cb.

Hope Son and Kane get off the mark in this one.

Think this is the first time since our win at the bridge back in the 17/18 season that i look forward to face Chelsea. This time we will go there to battle the fuck out. COYS

We can win. Chelsea were bang average against Everton, they were there for the taking.

If we can get over the weight of history we should be winning this, we should be aiming to win this.

Whatever the outcome of this match is, it feels good this fixture is out of the way so early.

Exactly, a loss at this stage of the season in one of our toughest away games isn't the end of the world. Our season won't hinge on Sunday and it will be long forgotten even by midseason.

That said, it would be so good if we can win there, even a draw would be a great result. It would just be so good to put down a marker to say 'we are the real deal, proper contenders'.

The only thing stopping us is the mental side of it.

This was our starting XI in the PL match at Stamford Bridge last season, it was a sort of 4-4-2 , seem to remember PEH pleading for advice from the bench as Mount was causing us so much trouble up against Davies. We definitely will line up a lot stronger on Sunday.

Lloris
Tanganga Dier Sanchez Davies
Doherty Winks Højbjerg Sessegnon
Kane Bergwijn

It will be hard, this is Chelsea's cup final, for some reason it's the biggest game of the season for their fans and the one they'd most hate to lose.
We're capable of getting the result though.
Really?? A club who continually win cups even without being favorites at times, and playing us will be their cup final! You must be mistaking them for West Ham.

I’m trying to reign in the positive vibes I’m feeling, because they just don’t sit correct with me for this fixture. It’s hard to ignore though that …

1) we have been in great form ever since the January window really
2) I’m pretty certain that a Conte pre-season has us very fit and organised
3) Our team feels incredibly settled PLUS more dangerous depth options now from the bench
4) We are due some form of rub of the green in this fixture
5)Despite their opening win, they have lost key players with experience in this fixture and there are murmurs of negativity around them.

Must reign it in !

And this was our bench in last seasons away game to Chelski (can't say that anymore what's Chelski in American), feeling good about Sunday , defeat is out of the question.
Moura
Rodon
White
Gil
Skipp
Gollini
Scarlett
Royal
Reguilón

PS Going to line up with a lot stronger bench this time round.

Set up a tee time so I won't be near a TV while the match is being played. Hopefully will be pleasantly surprised when I check my phone after my round and I can re-watch the full match. I fucking hate playing Chelsea at the Bridge.
