It's been sloppy all over the pitch mate, and they've been far more aggressive in the press. It's been a piss poor showing for sure this far, but I think it's been more about us not turning up than the actual shape. Let's hope he fires some ducks into them at half time.

Agree, I do have an underlying concern that having 2 in the centre of the pitch against them will always be a problem but I also think PEH lack of agility is a massive problem. We ether need to put another CM or swap him as until we can take some control of the midfield we wont get anything upfront expect for odd brake. Still could win it hut Conte needs to make the changes

Doesnt fit the system do you picture him breaking up play in the midfield he floats in games and would be exposed badly out there

Well. Not what i/we wanted from that, do hope this isn't a true mark of where we are..
Negs: we wasted too many openings, esp with poor touches (sons had a shocker in particular). Looked out of ideas for how to move the ball out (Emerson esp). And generally overrun in the middle.
Plus-side: kante and jorginho (and rest of team) can't keep that press up in that heat. Subs, bissouma and perisic esp. Son, for all he annoyed me first half, was still a good touch off/quick shot/right pass from opening them up.

But if Rose tinted glasses.. (esp as watching in France..) but, fuck it. Well smash em 3-1!

What’s the point in a straight swap of Bissouma for PEH when we’ll still be outnumbered in midfield? Surely he has to come on for an attacker or Sessegnon (going to a back 4)?

Absolutely woeful! Only positive is that chelscum only have 1! I hate all this talk during the week “we’re ready to get a result, we think we can get a win etc, etc” do your talking on the pitch! Really grinds my gears!

Its just always the same against chelsea, we shit ourselves every time. It seems to be the only time Conte is passive as well, we just roll over and take it every time. Fingers crossed for something different in the 2nd half.
