Oh come on. We were all over the place.

Defensively after we reverted to 4 at the back but Chelsea had less attempts on target than us. They were the better side but they didn’t take advantage of it. Last season they blew us away.

The sweetest thing - apart from the fact th at they completely outplayed us - is that, in their shoes I'd be fucking ropeable that the Cucurella hair pull didn't lead to the corner being cancelled. And I'd also argue Richarlison was offside and in the keepers eyeline for the Pierre goal.

Now I just get to laugh at Chelsea fans knowing how much they must be raging and crying and hair pulling.

Fuck you and your spindly legged Sunday cyclist rage addicted manager. Pricks

outplayed for most of the game, imo we created chances... but i feel we stole a point, chelsea dominated but just couldn't get a 2 goal lead.

Thomas Tickle isn't that tall, yet he seems to be wearing trousers about 10" too short for him?! ? And holding on to Contes hand at the end cause he didn't look him in the eye? Weird!

Romeros hair pull was a bit much, suprised there wasn't a foul/card for that!

Not sure anyone on our side really stood out as being great, just glimpses from a few. As one of those who wasn't keen on Richarlison, I can now say I'm totally on board with him though. Plus I love how much of a team man Perisic is, think he'll be a good manager one day.
Objectively soeaking, it is an extremely important thing culturally for Germans to make eye contact when shaking hands with peers. My German colleague coincidentally told me about this a few weeks ago when we were at a conference. It's customary in most cultures, but especially so in Germany, apparently. Suspect the heated atmosphere brought this to the fore for Tuchel.

Oh well, awful performance from all involved. Totally lucky to get the point, but I'll take it. We need to learn that from quickly. Our XI is still far from competitive at the top end, and Conte needs to be more flexible with that midfield. We also need more work in the transfer window if possible, or at the very least, start dropping the same older underperformers.

As for the next game, Richarlison deserves to start over Son. Ivan 100% needs to be there in front of Sess.

Not worried about the performance today. The Bridge is a huge mental block for us, and I think we put a huge dent in that block tonight. On the other hand, Chelsea always turn up and plays to their best in these games. We will be better next weekend, and I think Chelsea will go back to their lackluster Everton-performance.
